I knew exactly how forums would react to this thread. I’m speaking for the 99% of players who don’t go on forums and aren’t sweats or whales. This content along with the gameplay breaking bugs and AI issues make it a nightmare for the average F2P / low spending player, endgame and not. I only care that Kabam at least sees this.
@Tairique_turay0 see you are so blind that I actually agreed with you on the initial thought. If its a revive dump so be it. What else is there to use revives on? If they don't have an excessive overflow of revives they are not ready for it and that is fine because it is Everest Content.

Ok. Fine. Since you seem to think i spend all day on a game. This is for you. I was wrong though. Not 30 minutes. 50 a day. Still not hours upon hours as you claim I do. You just can't cope that I don't need hours a day on a game to be good or get anything accomplished in the game. Yet you can't seem to grasp that a new fight is actually learnable according to almost everyone. But go off.
@Demonzfyre Story content isn’t challenging to me… but it’s very fun and isn’t a revive dump. You’re probably one of the players that aren’t affected by the insane lag and freezing issues since the Beta Ray Bill / Enchantress update. The content will be much easier for you if that’s the case. These bugs affect the Ares fight in the worst way possible. I doubt you’re here to defend Kabam and their dismissal for fixing these bugs though… right?

You really showed me your overall amount of playtime for this 1 single week… a week that had nothing going on in mcoc until Wednesday evening which was only 47 hours ago. This proves absolutely nothing. What makes it worse is that it also proves that you hang around commenting on Forums all day more than the game itself… 🤧 that’s even weirder lmao

No. I'm here to mock your post. If you know there are bugs that are effecting you directly, maybe don't do that content yet. You don't speak for a group of people. You speak for yourself. There are far fewer people who experience the bugs you're referring to.
I myself experience the medium intercept bug fairly often. But i know that going into fights and plan around that. As I always do, I welcome you to tell Kabam how to fix that bug that you're specifically facing. If you think they can't do it, tell them how.
Story content isn't challenging to anyone because people complained so much they gave up on designing it to be that way. I'm an average player but I'm always in support of content that isn't repetitive or reworks of older fights. I may have to use more resources than the average player but I won't complain about the difficulty because this game needs this sort of content and it's difficulty. They shouldn't lower it because you're facing bugs.

Why unnecessary yap? Rewards are 7r4, Titan Nexus, 7* class crystals, 7* sigs, two 7* Awaken gems, lots of T6CC, unbelievable gold and much more,
But main attraction I saw, I had to double check it, there is 7* Nexus with 5 choices, that's right, 5.
KABAM back in form with rewards, All kinds of revives, 24h crystals, 4h crystals and units waste is worth it.
Because they keep making this stuff and nothing else. No content to enjoy. Not everyone can play like a robot or want to deal with having to do 20 hours of mindless potion grinding to do a lane. If you want to play content just to be super hard because the challenge is "fun" go play act 6 with 4* champs. Other players that have invested alot in the game as well dont want to quit but there just isnt fun content to do. EQ is still fricken thronebreaker ..thats crazy. Story mode is a perfect difficulty and good rewards. We just wish EQ and SQ where on par and they did stuff like Variants still or similar but of course more difficult. Its just not fun to be stuck in a quest for 8 hours and just smash though reviving. I nice to be able to enjoy the power of the champs you ranked to the highest level and smash content.
It’s interesting how this one quest is bringing out either the best or the worst in people. I think it says a lot. The quest made me grow and get better. I’m sure my future runs will improve, as the fight got better each time I attempted it. That’s a sign of good design not bad. Could the ares fight be better optimized? Sure. But the pros in the fight way outweigh the bad
I did 4 runs already and I got better fighting Ares each time. I’m out of revives and don’t wanna dip into my units so gonna build revives again then do the last 2. Ares has got to be the least enjoyable boss in the 9 yrs I’ve been playing this game though. By far. 😂

All I’m gonna say is that I keep seeing comments on Ares to the effect of “how are the non-sweats or the average players supposed to take him down” as if the rewards haven’t made it exceptionally clear that the answer to that is that this is high-level content that’s for the so-called “sweats”. You aren’t getting a r4 7* for being a casual player, you’re working for it. I feel like people get it in their head that all content should be easily clearable by anyone when basically every game is built on the exact opposite premise, when you design challenges you’re inherently trying to wall out some people from completing it. That’s not a design flaw, that’s literally the point.

I agree that Variants should be brought back, but I disagree that "they keep making this stuff and nothing else."
Carina Challenges in Necropolis is an 8+ hour time sink, but that was released only a few months ago.
Epoch is a 6 fight + boss matchup. Sure, it may require potion investment but most players can knock out one run in 1 hour.
AW Showcase is also a few matches and then done.
SOS/AOA is one fight for the most part that players can knock out with ~5 revives and 10-20 minutes.
Prior to that, there was the permanent content where you can use a champion once the whole quest.
And, as we can see with the beta testing, Act 9.2 is upcoming, and it takes several months to create.
So it seems to me, there is a wide range of content to do, not just "8 hour, potion sinks" type content.
Ares is a boss that absolutely takes getting used to. You are going to get demolished on your first attempt at him. You just are. On my initial completion, he took like 30+ revives from me.
I just finished my fourth path. He only took four this time. I absolutely believe that I could solo him, given a few more attempts. Not sure if I’ll do it by attempt 6, but it feels very doable. And yeah, it’s been a lot of fun getting this fight down.
I don't think they ever described Everest content as fun anyway... Remember Necropolis release?... They said something within the lines of "Get ready to die a lot"... Even made a realm event for it and we went all happy and jolly to splat.
