I'm trying to understand how it works...

Let's say I'm on a cold streak on 6 stars... and its "due for the next crystal" according to the gimmick/feature of this crystal... Does that mean I will be spending 300 units with a 0% chance of a 7 star, and, if I wait, I will always have that until I buy it and "get it out of the way"... or does it only remove the chance of a 5 star, and have like a 98% chance of a 6 star with a rare chance of a 7 star?

If indeed that is the case, it should either be fixed, or limited to something like exalted or mythic crystals where there are only 2 star levels.

I thought it was going to be the new champs 'featured' crystals when I heard the word 'featured'
I wasn't interested in an old champ from the titans.
Not sure what existing champs i would spend money to get units to draw these but I think it might be a nice feature for free to play players.

I'm hoping people are providing honest, respectable feedback so there can be a right assessment of this. Hoping they reduce the amount of crystals needed to get the guaranteed (something more reasonable) and even how this can be used with other common crystals (Premium Crystals, etc).

Remove the new tab, or move it to the end of the existing tabs

Exactly , I don’t need to see kabams garbage offers every time I want to open crystals or check my crystal inventory.

Great idea that was terribly implemented. If you were gonna do this on Paragon or Valiant crystals the community is already earning through events, calendars, etc without having to purchase separate crystals, it would have been great. But requiring us to use units, and a lot of them, to purchase additional crystals is a major L. I would be interested to see data on how many people actually jumped on this "deal."

I have chosen not to read any other comments so I can’t change my opinion,

There needs to be a longer duration, like I have looked at the crystal tab and I didn’t even know Hood was in it, and he only has 5 days left, like jeez I don’t know if people will have enough units, or can’t get them in time you know?

My idea is extend the date, to like 40 days, then once the 20th day hits, introduce a new champion, then by the time the first one ends, the second one is at 20 days, and the third champ comes in.

It’s all just way too expensive these days. Nice context but I’m so sick of seeing offers or progression tracks which need $300+. The platinum track is a great example of getting it right.

yeah i dont think anyone who isnt a whale will be remotely using this. 60k units for a 7* only works for the whaliest of the whales. Which sure whatever but also the UI is probably the worst ive seen and its so easy to misclick and spend 3000 units if u forget the first page isnt the notmal crystal tab anymore

Good luck to anyone participating, I hope you get something good before the pity system kicks in.

I've been burned so many times with featured crystals even a pity system doesn't cut it anymore - the best thing I've done for my account this year is just to not buy featured crystals. If they come with a deal, fine but I've stopped spending units on them.

Doubling or tripling the drop rate for the featured champion would be much more effective, and would probably have been a fraction of the work that implementing the pity system has required.

I think the concept of the system would be great... if it were rolled out to the crystals people actually woud dget anyway.

That could be the free ones we get from arena and events and such (and formally the weekly calendar, the monthly event crystals which we seem to get fewer and fewer of, but still don't get a chance for a 7 star) or ones people want to pay for... Early access bundles, and crystals from events like the Valentines ones that came in pairs.

With a few exceptions... few people are going to go and spend 300 units for "Luke Cage" crystals. Every now and then there will be someone who really needs the champ that happens to be selected for a particular need, and has to be really willing or either spend a lot for that one, or have struck out hard on the last one... but that assumes that person started the chain, and had awful luck, and isn't so miffed they are still willing to conitnue.

Now if you made that an "onslaught" crystal, or one of the other top handful of champs... that would skew it.

The "spend $500, get Nimrod" is generally a much better system. Similar unit deals have existed, and are arguably better (spend 9500 units, get a champ and some sig stones). I think the price point is a bit steep, but its better than the above.

For this tab to have any value, it either this "tab" needs to be expanded for basically every champ in the basic pool... or it just needs to be a general mechanic that covers most, if not all hero crystals in the game.
