    You’re correct.

All progression titles have been “trivialised”.

All players must 100% everything. And I’m not even joking.

You can't have a new progression title involving r4, when all whales already have 4+ of them. You can't ask for, like, six or seven or more r4s when there s only three available in game content, this ship have sailed. My bet is for next year, Act 9 completion + some r5s.

Thronebreaker was released in October 2020 (6 Star, Rank 3)
Paragon was released April 2022 (6 Star, Rank 4)
Valiant was released November 2023 (7 Star, Rank 3)

If Kabam is trying to keep a 1.5-2.5 year cadence of a new title/progression, we probably won’t get one until 9.3 or a new Everest content near end of 2025/early 2026

The last 3 titles focusing on having champions from specific rarities at specific ranks. If Kabam is continuing that route, then the next title will be 1) the last 7 star title and 2) a title that requires at least 1 rank 5 Seven star seeing how rank 4’s are becoming more available now through Epoch of Pain, 9.2, and Carina’s Challenges

I was eagerly awaiting yesterday’s stream as I was fully expecting Kabam drops a new progression title incorporating rank 4s and 9.2 completion.

As someone who completed the 10y challenges, epoch and ordeal, and already received two rank 4s, I was certain 9.2 would have some t7b and that the requirement for this assumed new progression title would be 3 full r4 champs.

Seeing that not only is there no new progression, but that there is a fully available r4 within 9.2 exploration, that t7b fragments are going to be fully available in the super event, the saga and war showcases and saga incursions - and that a full 4 t7b are available for sale on spring cleaning- kind of ticked me off.

I mean, normalizing r4 champs for any valiant player regardless of endgame content completion kind of cheapens all my previous efforts.

    Am I alone on this?

If previous timeframes are in play valuant didnt come out tell after the paraguantlet was a few months in with the valiant difficulty testing starting in may my guess is it will be announced probly in may and out just before july 4th deals

I can't wait for new progression title, so the top can be put in reward pools with Paragons, and TBs get kicked to the curb with Cavs and lower.

Well they wont thats what the new dynamic reward for eq being tied to progression and prestige so those later in the progression wont be with the newer ones its to separate people finally
    What about July deals?

Why should I be offered more of the same r3 materials with new valiant players?

Why should lazy valiant players who did not do epoch or carina or ordeal get offered for units the same r4 materials I get offered?
Because they are spending money spending money has always given a leg up in getting things faster congrats on your r4s im still working on my first half way through ordeal

I have a feeling the next progression level will come after act 9 completion, or when 7* R5s are available

You're kinda disproving your own point here.

Each title was 1.5 years away from the last. It's been been exactly that amount of time right now since Valiant released (November 2023 - May 2025). And, by the ranks you listed as the requirements, it would be perfectly in line with the trend to make 7 star R4s the requirement, considering how the previous ones were 6*R3s and 6*R4s, and 7*R3s respectively.

There are other more valid reasons why they wouldn't drop this now, but these aren't some of them.

Yup. That’s where I was coming from. Oh well. Was expecting some response from kabam to this.

Kabam is shooting themselved in the leg with the new title. It should come soon, that's obvious, but either will be tied to a R5 7*, which will contradict their own statement of trying to scale back the progression of 7*s, or will be tied to a ridiculous amount of 7R4, like 6-7 or something.

But hey, at least every month players will be able to buy a 7R4

I am in the camp that XP will be involved in the new progression title in some way. Refined XP sets up nicely to control the speed in which players can "progress". Think of a mud race. Fast-paced, lots of separation between racers...Once you hit the mud, progression slows down significantly...allowing the lesser accounts to catch up. Would be a smart and controlled way to introduce titles going forward.

Almost certainly. We have content gated and roster gated titles in part because the level of the account was saturated and no longer represented progress. But with RXP based levels beyond 60 (more or less) level now roughly measures end game progress. I would expect the next post Valiant title (or maybe two) to have at least one prerequisite be some level of progress there.
