Yeah But I definitely don't see them having thor Or cull or literally any other cosmic champ in this crystal? Along with champs like apoc, nick, and hopefully other good champs similar to their level. That's not logical as well. I think it's hulkling or some new buffed champ. Otherwise It will he a Very big L.
Cull is about apocalypse level, people just don't want to admit it
Firstly thank you to the OP, it is definitely an interesting breakdown.
As far as guess who would be the other 4 champs that would get players hype enough (similar level to Nick and Apo) that is tricky.
Let start with the easy guess first
Tech - I would imagine the easy choice would be Vi Vision (imo Nimrod isn't that meta OP anymore since so many new Mutants are not relying on Prowess and would punish Shock DoT), but don't feel like Kabam ready to release Nimrod yet.
Science - from the choice of those 4, I would guess IBom (just to try and bate Brian back lol) and Cassie, again would imagine Kabam feel safer to release one of these 2 champs.
Both HT and Scorpion prefight are too OP in Kabam eyes imo
The last two is trickier.
Kabam might try to go with Defs champs instead, in which case.
Cosmic - Annihilus might be a possibility, Kabam might value his Def abilities higher than player think.
As for the 4 suggested champs, I can't imagine Cull bring much excitement to players to whale out on, I don't know much about Thor so can't say. But Hulking and CGR are far too OP in Kabam opinion to be release, the best of out of the 4 God tier Cosmic we would now would be Galan.
Music - Dr Doom and Tigra again might be too OP in Kabam mind to consider releasing now.
Claire cause design content and champs problem before and not sure if Kabam have found a workaround yet.
So I would guess was be AM or Def champ - Mephisto
All of this is not who I think should be release but just second guessing what Kabam would release.
Don't think it would matter much for a scrub like me, don't think I will get any of these champs anytime soon.

It wouldn't be a big L, Thor is a powerful champ and definitely fits that description. You may not think so right now but if he's in it and someone gets him to sig 200 r4 I'm sure you'll change your mind. I'm willing to bet he would be just as quick as Hulkling in terms of nuking, not saying he's better but I'm very certain the damage output would be very close. I would agree if they chose AA or Kitty for mutant but they went with Apoc, they already made it very clear that by powerful they don't mean top 3 so Thor is an option.

yea i agree i dont know why everyone is getting so excited for apoc cuz he is pretty dissapointing in my opinion the only time i ever run him is for my AA

although i do feel that heimdall and ikaris may also have a chance cuz they are not terrible, i would put them in same category as apoc what i think Cosmic: Heimdall, Ikaris, Thor Mystic: Claire Science: Cassie Ibomb or maybe even Mr Fantastic Tech: Viv or Nimrod if they feel generous then FAM i dont think all will super strong i feel the only truly outstanding is going to be nick but i feel the rest are going to be good and above average champs

Apoc is great when fully ramped but he is by no means a top 5 mutant anymore, the game is not what it used to be, I agree. So, with all that in mind, yes Thor is the most likely option to me because by powerful they obviously don't meant op or top of their class.
I think all of our predictions are going to ago poorly. Kabam describes almost any champ as “powerful,” sadly.
People are just assuming that because Nick is in it then all of them are going to be op as well and that's just not it, this event will be the equivalent to Omega Days last year, those of us that were here know that half the crystal was trash and the other half was fine. It wouldn't make sense for this event to have only the top 3 from each class, especially when Kabam already added Apoc. Apoc hasn't been a top 5 in the mutant class for a while and not because he was limited to 6* rarity but simply because there are other mutants that do stuff better than him and don't need any ramp at all, realistically he's just there for the pre-fight.
Another 9 hit rol fight: https://youtu.be/6en7chxOkGA?si=L6xwr58A9q-iqSJZ But oh no he's so bad lol I get that people want Hulkling and CGR more, I do too, but getting Thor would STILL make sense and wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing as long as you can at least dupe him once and then start pumping sigs into him. Would it suck if you don't awaken him? Sure but last year's Omega Days was the same, I have an Omega Red just sitting on my roster gathering dust cause I couldn't awaken him, it is what it is doesn't mean the champ is bad.
So a no node mode and champs with awful stats that proves nothing just shows he has good damage when he doesn’t have to play around abilities. Let’s see his average war and bg use oh yeah nearly zero for bgs and zero for war

But I'd say pretty much all the Omega Days champs are still extremely viable in metas. The only one who would be up for debate might be Omega Red, since his sig investment is heavy, but I used him a few times this past season in T1. Every other champ has gotten tons of usage in the game since the event. I see numerous high level Omea Sentinels, Mole-Mans, Longshots. Corvus is still frequently banned in T1 AW even with power back nerfs (I used him for 4 or 5 wars and he slaughtered). And while Quicksilver is debatable given his playstyle, he at least has high prestige going for him at max sig which is ultra relevant to top alliances.
All that said, yes, I could see OG Thor being the cosmic of the group for HOF. But even if he isn't, and it IS CGR or Hulkling, I wouldn't be surprised.

Sunspot has very little utility yet he's one of the fastest BGs nukes and a lot of people use him, is he bad? No, so yes you are wrong, Thor could very well be relevant in BGs if he was a 7* in the same way Sunspot is. I'm glad you admitted he has a ton of damage though I thought you'd be just that delusional but that's already one step forward bud! Also, you can't have nukes with massive utility because then you end up with broken champs, just saying.

The problem with Thor has always been that he doesn't crit enough, I think once he does become a 7* people are really going to stop sleeping on him similar to how Red Guardian is also going to climb up from the depths of the top 10 back to top 3 probably. People don't realize stat focus impacts a lot of these champs massively, Thor will be the perfect example so if it is him I really hope I can pull him and dupe him and then straight to sig 200 so I can post some gameplay at r3. With that being said though yes, Hulkling would be a bigger W and what we all want but I just don't see it happening with Galan dropping at almost the same time.
Seven star RG is going to embarrass people. Gonna beat em like a rented mule.
I'm really glad how his rework turned out. It was great to see the game do him justice (although many might argue OG Cap/WW2 Cap should've had that kit) as Black Widow MCU really only had him as comic relief. Hoping we see some badass stuff from RG in Thunderbolts.

Hulkling is way too strong for this, especially considering Galan is releasing in the Titan at the same time. That's more than enough excuse for Kabam to pick a less strong cosmic, since Cosmic is already getting a heavy hitter re-release in the Titan. It'll probably be Cull or Thor. Every crystal needs its duds (by Kabam logic, not mine).
Does anyone know if this will be exactly like the omega days event where we simply need to open crystals to reach the milestones? Or will it be more like the omega chain event we recently had?
Considering this is literally called “Heart of fire” if it’s not Torch I’ll eat my hat.
I expect Claire Voyant to also be part of this lineup, it will be nice to have a champion who’s dupe and sig isn’t required, similar to Torch.
As for the other two, I’m still holding high with Ronan, sig 200 he’s unstoppable, Nick Fury also wants high dog as well.
As for Tech, I think Viv Vision is the perfect Titan champion, so I think it’s going to be Nimgod.
Doctor Doom will be part of a separate event this year or early next year, hold me too this.

I can’t find the post, but I recall a Kabam mod saying that there was a coding issue with her buff immunity debuff I doubt we’ll be seeing her as a 7* .

Totally fair comment, however I do think that we are past that. The vote change for a mystic 7* to be brought into contest was roughly a year and quarter now, we are coming up to nearly 2 years.
Times have changed, so should Kabam, they should have the opportunity to do this now. As this is an event that has been created at least a few months prior.
There is one problem with Claire Voyant though, like you said with Buff Immunity. Is it too strong? I’m not sure, we will see soon I guess.

It's absolutely too strong
Yes, it is strong.
Buff immunity comes from her poison or bleed spell I think it’s poison though.
Your main damage source from claire is her incinerate spell, you can only select one.
Unless the champion you face is buff heavy, and you are in poison spell, she hits like a wet noodle.
Keep in mind that when you activate claire’s sp2 that buff immunity I’m pretty sure is 8 seconds, once you reach 20 Voyant charges she will be loosing this BI consistently.
If you consistently keep up the buff immunity, you are going to be in a fight for a LONG time.
I personally think she’s ready, the only reason Kabam removed her from the vote is down to the difficulty of her buff immunity and coding, so it wasn’t actually down to how powerful she was.

Buff Immunity occurs on SP2 regardless of mode. It is powerful, but since it is locked behind SP2 it's pretty hard to spam it.
If there are no immunities to manipulate (like The Champion in one of the earlier acts), it becomes a game of racing to two bars of power, waiting out whatever unstoppables since you'll run out of charges, use your SP2 to gain a few more charges, be able to nullify a few buffs when BI runs out, and again race to another SP2 to gain BI and a few more charges.
I actually don't think her Buff Immunity itself is overpowered, but more that she gains power anytime an immunity happens. Not just what she is capable of (buffs, bleeds, poisons, incinerates) but any immunity. There are a ton of immunities in the game happening all over the place. For example, Debuff/stun immune grants her power.
With all that said - I do think she is coming as a 7-star (if they've fixed whatever potential programming bug there could be). She has been included in a Dazzler and a Count Nefaria synergy recently. Although those synergies make lore sense, it also seems like Claire is being thought about (Elektra is part of the Count Nefaria synergy too.....)
KT1's guesses: Same things I said, they're picking champs that were at one point at the top of the game's meta, Thor belongs to that group even though he got nerfed massively afterwards and though still strong yes he's currently not on the same level as the rest but that's kinda the whole point. His role in this crystal will basically be: the filler champ, the one nobody wants to pull even if he isn't actually bad. Expecting Kabam to throw us a crystal with the most meta relevant champs to ever exist without a single dud (and I say this mainly cause he needs sig 200 not because he's bad) is for lack of better words the most delusional thing one could possibly think and hope for, and if they did do something like this then that would be a first it's a hill I'm willing to die on. In what planet, reality or dimension does one actually believe Galan and Hulkling/CGR are being added back to back? 😂
It’s hard to find the commercial logic for putting six of the most impactful so star champs in a single crystal / event. I mean, I hope all six are insane. But it seems highly unlikely.
The meta-relevant champs that are still locked as six stars are all incredibly valuable cards for Kabam to play. They could create an entire series of events based around the gradual introduction of the OG six stars. Call it the “Year of Legends” or something and slowly roll out the old bangers.

Very nice infographics and very good (first) post!
As powerful is the keyword:
Science: Human Torch (but I would prefer Immortal Abomination, Scorpion as 7* won’t be in such a crystal)
Mystic: Tigra (but I would prefer Claire that is not powerful enough, Doom for next Doomsday movie)
Cosmic: Hulkling (Cosmic Rider is probably too powerful and desired, Hercules as 7* won’t be in such a crystal)
Tech: Nimrod (Future Antman and Ghost are not powerful enough)
Until I saw the sentence "Ghost is not powerful enough."
I can’t find the post, but I recall a Kabam mod saying that there was a coding issue with her buff immunity debuff I doubt we’ll be seeing her as a 7* .

Cosmic. Hulkling
Mystic. Dr Doom
Science. Human torch
Tech ghost
However let's be realistic
Thor
Tigra
Cassie lang
Nimrod
