They’ve done it to me multiple times. Usually they refund the $ right away, often as soon as they charge it. A few times I’ve had to message asking for the refund and it comes within a few days. The last time it took almost 2 weeks of back and forth with Xsolla support and Kabam support before getting the $ back.

Aaaand welcome to the contest of negative credits 🤣
It's been well over a month since the first double charge of $91.93. I've been in touch with xolla and my bank on multiple occasions and still never got my money back
Wow, if I knew about this I never would have bought from webstore.
I’ll have to check my statements to make sure they haven’t rorted me too
I have never had an issue with double charging or errant charging myself, but if you still want to take advantage of the webstore but don't trust their charging methods, use the pay with cash method. There's an option to allow you to pay in person with cash (or frankly any payment option) at participating storefronts (where I live in the US, both 7-11 and CVS are options, for example).
The way this works is: you buy the thing and select cash (or one of the store fronts, which is the same thing) and xSolla emails you an invoice for the purchase. You have to take that invoice to a participating storefront and give it to the cashier (its a QR code, so you can print it out or show them the QR code at the register from a device), and then they take payment from you. When that is acknowledged, the purchase goes through. For me my recollection is this process took just minutes.
It is theoretically possible to pay for something and then not get it of course, but then you have receipts and documentation. But it is impossible to be double charged, and it is impossible for then to invent a charge you did not make. It is also impossible to accidentally buy the same item twice by mistake, as you'd still have to go through the process of manually paying for the thing.
It is a hassle, but it is an option that puts you literally in the loop for every single payment that can't be bypassed due to a processing error.
