1) I have been having this issue that cost me 2 deaths in AW and 1 in AQ and also in infinite streak.
Ever since the latest update, when I initiate a dash/medium and sometimes light attacks as well, my character shallo evades/moves back a little and the hit does not register, he only reacts to the next tap of the supposed 2nd hit of the combo. This may seem minor but it completely throws off your timings on intercepts, dodge backs and even shallo evades on some blocks.
2) Another glitch is that my character holds heavy (charges) and just stands there (though i never commanded him to) until he gets hit in the face. He is supposed to fire it if you release the finger, but even when i take both my hands off he just holds it until he gets hit. This has been going on for over 2 months or more. I thought it was my phone. And now I have observed this like 3 times in my new phone as well. This happens every 2 times or so for an hour of gaming.
I did some testing as I tried at different times meaning just opening the game and playing or when I have used the phone for a bit and played the game then. Also closed all bg programmes. I even tried it with just one finger to make sure if i was unconsciously touching the left side of the screen. No . Nothing same result.
I switched over to my old phone Redmi 3s prime. Same glitch. This i have noticed ever since last upgrade and is not happening once a day or so. It happens 2 to 3 times per 60 second fight sometimes even more, btw 2 such glitches/fight cost me 2 deaths in AW yesterday.
Currently playing on REDMI note5 , latest phone , 1 month or less . (released a month ago) . No other issues for phone, works great for other games and all , MCOC used to work perfectly before the update (except at times when glitch2 occurs) . No environmental issues that might affect performance, no other programmes running, 4GB ram, over 50 gb free memory. Please look into it.

Again, no issues in arena. Hardly any in quests. But a virtual poop storm in AW.
We just wanted to drop in and provide some context for everyone. The team understands your frustration and apologizes for the delay in replies to this thread about the issue. Thanks to everyone here who has provided relevant, constructive feedback and device information. It has been very helpful as the team works to improve the performance of The Contest.
One thing that it is important to understand is that lag and game performance of controls are affected by a host of factors including: device, operating system, connection and even Champions or maps. Complicated issues such as these involve an equally complicated investigation process, due to all of these variables.
This means that while these issues are correctly labeled here in the forum as “Under Investigation” by the team, it does not mean that there is one single “fix” coming that will address all concerns for all players. It is an ongoing process of improvements that the team is continually working toward as the game progresses.
The Game Team is continuing to look for ways to improve performance and the way we test on as many devices as possible. But as the game progresses there may be some devices that are no longer supported by the game and this could explain some performance issues players have seen with each new game update. This isn’t the only answer to everyone’s concerns, but it is certainly a piece of the puzzle to be taken into consideration.
For this thread, we have gathered as much relevant information as we can and will be closing it. Much of the information here is out of date, off topic or goes against the forum rules. We’re also seeing a lot of comments that are reporting unrelated bugs, confusing them for the same issue - this makes it hard for our team to properly investigate and resolve the issues you are all experiencing.
It’s really important for us to emphasize that we understand how frustrating bugs are to the positive experience you all want to have within The Contest. In re-organizing the Bugs & Known Issues sub-forum, our hope is that we can further improve how we are sharing information with you all as we work to resolve some of these issues.
