If the month of April is indicative of Kabam's direction for MCOC, then...

Op...well stated! Thank you. I am feeling that slow down as well. I used to build
    2/4☆ crystals a week...now i am not finishing one.

Back on the rails...read the op thread...fantastic summation of HIS view of the game and I think several others as well. Just a couple comments from me...
    1. For me, the over the top was the incredible increase in energy expense to complete the monthly quests....90!!!energy to do the outside path and then almost have to complete the same path a 2nd time with a small detour! My time is limited so this was my biggest pet peeve.
    2. Have you noticed the posts for alliances seeking new members? There used to be a couple here and there but now the forum is saturated with posts looking for new members. Clearly the game has chased a number of players away either from the game or from alliances.

It's a game and if I can't complete a level its no sweat off my back. Ive killed Guilly once for uncollected completion rewards, will I get exploration rewards....highly unlikely but that is my choice. If you play at your own pace and strive to increase your skill a little there is some reward in that....as soon as it gets to be a grind and no longer fun, simply move on to something else.

    Cheers.

I think kabam is struggling to sort out the mess they created. They painted themselves into a corner with growth too rapid in one segment of the community and underdelevelopement of other segments. They shouldn't encourage the material to be raced through when it is uploaded new, (Legend Runs) not sure who thought that idea up, but in a game where there is zero replay value on any of the quests, all they did was encourage players to rush through for the title only to end up afterward with nothing to do. So endless special events HAD to be created...1. for the purpose of having some way to pass out items and 2. To give those who rushed something to do. All through this...kabam has been their own worst enemy.

Not really. Only 100 people get a ledend title so it's not like the whole community goes out and does it all. It's nice to have lots of content to chose from. Some people can't or won't do it all but if you want to then it's there so the people who do like doing it all can. It's very nice to have more to do than not enough.

You seem to forget many repeat legend runners are getting the title over and over and there is no limit to the title at all.

You are right zola and for me that is exactly what is happening. Less and less time in the game. Burned out, bored by repitition, frustrated by the endless and slow process of acquisition of certain items. Content too easy on one hand or so hard it is obviously designed to strip us of every last item we have collected or saved.

As for the legends run...only 100 win...that doesn't mean they were the only ones to have rushed the material...based on the arenas they are 1 percent of those who rushed.. so that is not 100 guys with nothing to explore...its many thousands!

U just made the post of how the community feels like!!!
    You nailed it!!!
Hope it's gonna cause a change.
    I'm kinda of a f2p player.
And I'm doing arena WAY MORE than I usually does, cause I need WAY MORE resources to finish all of the content that I ALWAYS accomplish every month.
    And I HATE this situation...
Hopefully it's just this month I LOVE this game too much. I'll feel bad living this game

I just hope beyond all hopes that EQ is reduced energy in May as I want to try new game modes, but may not get the time to do everything...

I'm a fairly solid grinder as well, a good 3-4hrs per day but the fact they overlapped content with this month is also quite alarming..

you are not alone on your thoughts and insight. Many of my friends (end game players) have step down. it is long past due to increase summoner levels to include mastery points and higher energy.

as for gold....once uncollected and having 40 five star champs there just isn't enough time to do EQ and grind arena, and now 2 more time consuming task are coming tomorrow,

As for me..... not sure what the future holds for me in this game

I will have to agree with the OP on this one too. As time goes on, MCOC is demanding more of my time with increased energy costs and constantly rolling out content.

I love that there is so much to do now, i just dont have the time to do it. Im not suggesting Kabam dial the content back, its just i am finding it harder and harder to juggle completing these events and real life. That's MY problem of course, and i realize that.

But with the lack of gold, and stale rewards outside of act 5, I am losing the desire to play. I've got champs i would love to use and rank up, but dont have the gold to do it or the time to grind arena. I have been waiting on a gold realm for about 6 months, not sure how much longer i can wait. My activity has gone down significantly too, I hope Kabam can give some of us burnt out players some fire and desire to go hard again.

I am very much in the same boat. I sold all my champs and went into retirement because of the state of the game. I have lag for the first 10 seconds of every match. I loose control of my champs frequently, I stare at a loading screen for 15 seconds before every battle. My phone only lasts an hour before this game takes the battery from 100% to 10%. Instead of addressing these issues Oabam decides that what I really need are OP/untested Sentinels and longer paths so if I wanted to complete EQ my phone has to live on the charger.

This is the first time since becoming Uncollected that I will not complete the Uncollected EQ. Hell I won’t even do Master. The rewardsfor map 5 are garbage compared to the price.

Oh and my favorite thing. I spent very valuable and increasingly rare resources upgrading a war defense only to find out synergy doesn’t work on defense and I wasted units on otherwise garbage champs.

So I sold all my champs and retired from my 10 mil alliance that o spent over a year with, made friends with, and Kabam doesn’t care. When I expressed my options here they got deleted and I got “jailed”.

I understand the sentiments expressed by the OP. I don't quite understand the logic of quitting because there is too much to do though....

I agree gold is a serious issue right now, but I'm sure it will all get worked out. It's super easy to get burned out with this game. Especially for vets who can't progress much farther than what they are now unless they get super lucky with a 5* pull.

That's why it's important to slow down every now and then. Take a step back and just play AQ/AW for a couple weeks.

    This is on point.

Stringing ourselves along to another 5* pull in hopes it moves the needle...when the push to run multiple EQ stages and hit arena milestones dries up, and you don’t see a ready source of T2a or T5b outside substantial amounts of time/resources, you’re basically done.

I am not afraid to say I am struggling with the new content, the new quests appear to be just a money grab from Kabam as I am finding lots of people are spending because they can’t finish. Is that what the game has become because I am not enjoying the game and isn’t that why we play, Kabam please address this not just for me but for everyone.

If steady and tangible account growth is as much of a factor in the overall gaming experience for you as it is for me, then it's easy to realize that resources are rationed across all points of gameplay to such an extent that blanket completion is pretty much required to keep growing.

This is especially true once you reach a certain point of growth in the game.

Not true at all. Of course if you blanket your gameplay across all game modes then you will progress faster, but nothing (besides t5b) are hidden behind any wall right now.

The logic of the OP is "I can't progress as fast as everyone else because I don't have time. Therefore I am going to quit."

Just doesn't make sense. You could make the case that slow progression is boring and therefore you're going to quit. That is at least an honest argument.

Well said OP and Panchulon. Please remember not to attack anyone regardless of their point of view. I see the same accounts getting threads like this one locked. Please be respectful and not get this thread locked.

OP is on point and it has become especially time consuming this month. Between, EQ, AQ,AW, arena and catalyst farming, I find myself putting in more time just to keep the resource pipeline going. Tone down the volume in content and do a small tweak to rewards in general to balance things out. I think that's a reasonable request that would benefit many who trying to find work/life/game balance.

Zola it is really too funny because that happened in the lower tiers long ago and i get beat up for saying so. But you are spot on! Hard to keep going when more and more is demanded for less and less and to stay competitive you really do need to try and work your way through everything for what you need to at least keep some kind of pace...i always knew i was running behind the pack because i chose to play solo...but i didn't feel it was pointless and hopelss till all the 5s were dumped in the crystal all at once and a new level added. Before that i could feel like i was only one level behind and two now and i am still not getting access to what i need without hurting myself supply and time wise. So it feels pointless to do anything but casual play or quit. Longer paths, etc. And it is time to let summoners grow. Should have done that instead of raise the champs. Think about it...that would go further to level the field than anything else...new growth from 60...

Additionally, it might have give us incentive to replay for xp points but "greater minds!"
