Arenas - Do we fight AI?

When you fight in the Arenas, do you fight against AI rather than another person? If it’s a person, how can you pause the game? Just wondering.

    I also think it's AI. I mean, we can choose our match and whose champion is to fight whom, and our opponents seem like they don't have a choice.

    I think our champions are in the pool of the arena during the 2-hour hibernation period before we can use them again.

    We’re fighting against AI. If it were against an oridinary player then the fight could be be too long and stupid because both would wait for parry, intercepting, shallow evade and all that that we mastered in the game. That’s why it’s better to fight against AI because their purpose is to go all out

    It need not be so. A timer can be implemented and a random damage over time debuff is activated at start (example). It could actually be very interesting.

    Yeah that's a good idea and maybe when the timer runs out both champions start to degen 1% of their own health per second(so high health champs do not have the advantage)and all healing is blocked.

    I like that idea, maybe something similar to Brute Force or Bane.

    Human vs human in MCoC would be a disaster. The game and champs are not designed that way.

    The servers cant even handle AI opponents, can you imagine the outages if kabam tried to implement proper PVP? 🤣

    Maybe something like a controlled event, with set timing for various time zones. Borrowing an idea from Goldpool, say only 1024 Summoners qualify for it and with knockout progression.

    No, that's only during a certain string of fights with a certain PI.

    Finlghting other players will be a disaster .
    Arenas are already time consuming and power consuming but if you fight against real players which can have boosts on you will hate arena more than anything
