How will cores earned through leveling up be refunded since they were not purchased? i.e. level 52, if I remember correctly.

Say I’m using Starlord against a Mystic Champion, and he’s triggering several Fury Buffs in a row. Does the trigger of a new Fury Buff activate MD, or does it not count because “the full duration” of the previous Fury didn’t count down?

I am sorry you used a generic but personally I don’t feel this change warrants any return of gems. It’s not as though Dorm will be an easy defender now, he will still trigger degen, Just not on multiple dash backs.

The post sounded like we are getting a refund regardless, if we like it or not during the test phase, and then decide to buy it back or not... is that correct?

I have 4 levels unlocked but not currently on. Will I still get the refund or do I need to put points back in it by the 30th?

So I have traded lots of cores during the X-mas event and now all the units I spent will be converted to loyal.

Regardless of your opinion the MD/Dexterity nerf will change Dormammu in a fundamental way. To be clear, I'm asking for my Dormammu to be unawakened and for the signature stones I used on him to be refunded. Just like Kabam will be offering refunds on mystic dispersion cores.

@Kabam Miike about the refunding, if account 1 gifted mystic cores to account 2, which account will the refunded units go to? Just trying to cover all bases

Gifts are purchased with units, not loyalty, why would you refund loyalty in this instance?

Since war seasons is over, I put suicides back on. I have 4 levels of mystic dispersion unlocked with no mastery points in there. Will I be compensated for all 4 levels of mystic dispersion purchased with units? Or do I have to spend another 200 units redoing my masteries to prove they are unlocked by aug 31?

This may have been answered already, but am I correct in assuming that on Sept 11th MD will be re-locked and I will have to re-purchase the entire mastery and all previously unlocked levels?

do i get this right? if medusa consumes her fury buffs for autoblock it wont trigger MD now? seriuosly? inonly took my 5* magik to r5 for MD, cause she rocks with it and now youndestroying another thing in game, these things getting stupid, after 3 years of playing im seriuosly considering to give up on this game

Will there be any update made to the items available in the loyalty store in the future?
Those of us who choose not to reinvest in MD are going to have a lot of loyalty with very limited options to spend it on

I got champs as Mstar and Mordo at r4 for defense, they won`t have same value in defense since MD is changed, can we get at least 1 rank down ticket, for mystic class, I think we deserve that.

As others have stated, many mystic champions are significantly affected by this change. RDTs are probably not the answer because you guys seem to hate the concept, but mystic sig stones or something of that ilk are warranted. I have a sig 200 mystic champ that I would not have given every sig stone (generic included) to without the existing form of MD.

We don't have any plans to issue Rank Down tickets or refund any other resources for this change. However, Dormammu was a Champion that we kept a very close eye on while coming up with proposed changes, and his effectiveness in the Beta before we committed to these changes.

We're going to continue to keep a close eye on all Mystic Champions after this change, and Dormammu in particular, as this change goes out into the wild.

No don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it won’t affect him. I just think when Mike said “intended character change” this is not a character change. It’s a mastery change that affects characters. There’s a difference and it’s one that kabam will use (whether rightly or not) to reason why they aren’t giving sig stones back.

Same here, wondering if I have to redo my masteries as well. another 200 units down the drain. When will it be free to change masteries?

I had used Units to gift Mystic cores in my primary account from two other accounts I have.
So, I want to.understand why it will be refunded by loyalty when I used units to gift them?

Well theoretically you wouldn't be triggering Medusa's autoblock mechanic... I'm assuming you'd rather let them expire then get parried (that's what I do at least). If you use your sp3 Magik will nullify them which will still grant power from MD. It's only if she parries you that you wouldn't get power from MD, and if she parries you you're most likely dead anyways, so not really a big change.

Just read the MD announcement. Why is this being made so complicated? I'm pretty irritated that you're stripping away my MD that's already setup the way i want it, converting things back to loyalty and/or units or whatever, and then asking me to buy it and set it up again. That's ridiculous. It's overly complicated and prone to potential errors and I don't really have a baseline of faith that it will happen correctly. I have no intention of altering my MD and will be keeping it at 4/5. So, why not just simply let me do that? I do not want to go through that convoluted and unnecessary process.

What could possibly go wrong?

Really dumb.

Will we get rank down tickets for this as I would have never taken magik to Rank 5 had I been aware of these planned changes. We should not only be compensated for the MD items but also any Cats etc from rank downs.

Yes. It is not possible for us to only refund Summoners on a case by case basis, so we're going all out and refunding everybody that's purchased Mystic Mastery Cores. All Summoners that have MD will have to buy the cores again and reapply their Mastery Points if they would like to repurchase it.
