10 Day Lockout Needs to End

Pretty straightforward stuff here.
The AQ brackets are now wide open, with a huge amount of alliances in each bracket level. There is no longer any benefit to jumping between alliance shells and I think it's time that the ten day lockout period be eliminated. At this juncture, it only hurts players, especially if we are kicked from alliances due to vindiction or things of that nature.

Can we look at something like if you have moved/left alliances 2 AQ in a row then 10 days no rewards? Or something like 3 times in a month you miss 10 days. Slightly different logic but would keep the idea of what you want and not punish those who are legit changing?
1) Blackout is not exclusively for tier manipulation.
2) It helps players by stabilizing alliances, makes them think twice about rage quitting, and requires less regular recruitment efforts due to hoppers.
3) It prevents other exploits.
The blackout was initially instituted strictly because of AQ bracket manipulation.
Yes, it does provide some stability, but players shouldn't be punished because some things don't work out. Some players get locked into alliances where they don't feel comfortable, don't feel welcome simply because of lockouts.
"It prevents other exploits" - LOL. This is supposed to be some kind of carte blanche catch all reason, but it strains the limits of credulity.
As a Leader, it helps weed Jumpers for me. One of the main things I strive for is loyalty. If people are simply jumping from Ally to Ally, just to get Rewards, that's not exactly fair to anyone. Personally, I want Members that will contribute and stay. Not all are the same. Some just decide to move on, and I respect that. However, as hard as it is to work for Rewards at higher levels, people generally don't want someone jumping in, grabbing what they can, and moving on to the next. I've had to deal with it. Even had a guy that wanted to jump back and forth from his old Ally. He moved on permanently, if you get my drift.
I can tell you in the past I have participated in exploiting milestone rewards from alliance events by joining alliances that completed events and collecting rewards from them. There was also the suggestion that we donate crystals to thier leader for the privilege. It's incredulous because you choose to not think of the possibilities or were ignorant of other exploits.
Now that alliance swapping is no longer an issue, they should at least bring the blackout period back to 1 week instead of 2. 2 weeks is just ridiculous for the current state of the game.
Does the blackout suck when I move back into a competitive alliance, absolutely but I try to ignore it. When work or life gets busy and I don't have time to commit to upper tier aq or aw I move to a lower alliance and barely even notice the black out as it is much shorter in that direction.
I really hate jumping like I do but what choice do I have since Kabam refuses to lower aq/aw timers and account sharing is a a bannable offense (not that I would share my account anyways)? Sorry, but sometimes work and family have to take priority over the game, and it's not fair to hold back 29 other alliance members in a competitive alliance just because I had some more important **** to do in a given day or week. Change the darn timers on aq and aw, that is half the problem when it comes to people jumping alliances.
I don't know what problems this wouldn't solve on both sides of the aisle.
Some type of blackout period does need to be kept in the game though, as it assists alliance leadership manage players who have become uncooperative, or are purposely doing things to hurt the alliance.
IE: A member continues to refuse to donate the resources needed to start AQ, week after week; or have been leaching the alliance by contributing the very minimum of points to events in order to collect rewards.
Other blackout times would remain unchanged by this, which should continue to help curb alliance jumping.
I was in my alliance for almost a year and had to leave due to unforseen events, luckily I joined another alliance with a great group of honest players, bugt I'm **** outta luck with the AQ rewards despite playing through the entire week.
It's just punishing a good population of honest players who had a legitimate reason to change alliances.
I like the other guys suggestion of enabling the blackout if you switch more than once in a small time frame.
