All are 4 Star, Rank 40. I can awaken one. Moderate skill level (I have to use revives on Chapter 3).

I know there’s love for Archangel but the regeneration potential of the other two has me on the fence.

My thoughts are that AA is still effective unawakened and Wolverine can still regenerate unawakened but Dr. Voodoo is just kind of on my bench right now.

I use voodoo myself and. Trust me awakened voodoo wrecks most of champs. And in mid length he shines through sp2 and poison by sp1

Thanks man... that’s kind of what I was thinking but these generic awakening gems are rare and who knows when I’ll get a chance at Awakening the other two. To top it off, if I ever get a Blade, he’ll take top priority over these guys.

DV. An awakened 4* AA is no slouch in the damage department with his bleed and poison but DV's Spirit Venom is no joke either, plus his regen has saved me from my stupidity (or lack of skill) more times than I want to admit and he has power control.

AA even when unawakened still deals a fair amount of damage. DV really shines once he's duped.

AA is clutch for me in EQ regularly and it's bc of his AAR along with the damage. Which would help you more really depends on the rest of your roster. Voodoo is probably the better all purpose champ with AAR, regen, and okay damage

If the fight is against someone that can be poisoned and/or is really buff heavy, then voodoo's damage is far better than okay as well

Voodoo was my first 5* 4/55 and have zero regrets.

Regen, poison, power control, ability accuracy reduction, plus great power gain if you have the Mystic Dispersion mastery (mine is lvl 3). He is a little tricky to learn at first with his even/odd combos, but is amazing once you get it.

My 4* Wolvie is still at 4/40. The switch in AQ to Sentinels has moved Wolvie to the bench for a lot of players, but he is still good in Monthly EQ and Story quests.

AA is a god without being awakened. His sig ability just makes him a little better.

That's just blatantly false. He's one of the few champs that can completely shut down abilities. It makes him FAR more than a little bit better.

Wolverine would be my choice but in monthly quests he might not be best choice in out damaging the tougher oppoents. He won’t go down but voodoo with his poison and ability reduction get down most champs

My first exploration of master was made possible with an awakened AA.

No more annoying evades, regen is stopped and ending fights quickly means less chance of getting nailed by the AI.

I'm sitting on a class gem waiting for Voodoo but a duped AA at 5/50 is a formidable quester.

To throw a curveball, my son was going to use the generic on AA, I talked him into waiting rather than rushing the decision.

A week later he dupes AA from a 4* crystal.

i think you should wait for another champions like ghost, stark spidey, blade etc. which you can use in all sort of senarios

I really love AA, but his problem is you need opponents that can both Bleed and poison. If you're looking for a go to champ to help you clear the monthly EQ, he will be gimped a bit if you run into paths / bosses that are immune or have immunity nodes. He is a little unreliable to be your main go to. He's a nice option to have and some months will be able to get almost everything done for you. But others, he can be dead weight.

So that's why in this situation voodoo has my vote. You can find a use for him pretty much everywhere, and he is a great sustainable champ for questing.
