People complaining about this boss are people who never learned how to evade her sp1, and instead just block it. She is literally no harder than she’s ever been. Her unblockable sp1 is only hard for people who refuse to get any better at the game
Admittedly I got wrecked first time I foight her this month because I always miss time her sp1. After the first pass she was considerably easier. Just duel her for practice before going back in.

Unblock sp 1 so hard for chapter 1 uncoll. And regen too. Unusually final boss for chapter 1.
Does she regen? Hadn’t noticed.
Armour break > more damage.
Juggs, UC, mags (not sure about mags though) are not affected by reverse controls, so they can evade the sp1 the normal easy way.
Practise on variant 1.1 emma frost: powergain aka faster/more sp1’s to practise on.

Masochism. But it only regens like 2k health so not a problem really
I'm with the OP. It's ridiculous. Never fails. Someone points out how hard something is, and they get trolled. If the Boss of the first Chapter can take down a whole team of R4s before you barely get a hit in, it's ridiculous. That's the direction things are going. Make it harder each month, that's the priority. Pretty soon, it will leave the game enjoyable for a handful of people.

I took her down with a r3 5* ghost. A 4* can do it too. Also used 5/50 SL on another run for fun. Theres lots of other options. If shes taking down an entire team of r4 5*, the problem is you.
Not trying to be a **** here but my statement stands. Adapt n git gud. This uncollected was the easiest one theyve had in months imo.

Simple, don't get hit. Parry to reduce block damage, take advantage of her heavies, or just wait out the fury. Practice dodging the sp1 in ultron's assault 1.1, first fight, 100% power gain, special attacks cost 50% less power, she'll get to sp1 many times, and it's blockable
Also it feels weird when you don't agree with kabam

Right. Simple. Don't get hit. If you do, you die. Except she's not that passive at all. The AI is almost predictive, and she can take a 6th of your Health with one hit through a Block. Not to mention her Combo is faster than you can respond.
It has nothing to with agreeing with Kabam or not. I respect the people that work on the game. It's not personal for me. I just don't agree with the direction things are going in terms of content. When you focus more on making it more challenging than the actual experience of it, you end up with exactly that. Content that litetally challenges you to the point of losing the enjoyment completely. It's more a case of doing their job too well than anything. However, no one wants to play a game that is so frustrating that it makes you not care about the Rewards for doing it. When the Boss of the first Chapter takes down your entire Team and you barely even scratch their Health, that leaves someone so discouraged that they don't even want to bother with it.
When you have a powerful Champ like Emma, with the data to support how challenging she is for people, then you add a Rarity and Sig that is quite a bit more challenging than we usually enocunter, then add the Nodes she has, plus dodgy AI (at best), it's overkill. There's way too much emphasis on making a new challenge and not enough consideration for just how challenging it will be for people. Then to add insult to injury, if you're so frustrated that you feel the need to say something, you get scoffed at by people telling you there's no problem at all, they just suck. Here's a point that's missed. Keep telling people they're not good enough month after month and backing that up with overpowred content, they won't want to stick around.
The only troublesome thing in this monthly quest for me was Havok lol. I even took an 4 star Angela to r5 to have an easier time.
with Emma I got used the first time she was a boss in uncollected, just gotta be used to her inverse controls thing. It's not hard once you get the hang of it.

So they just just make UC able to be put on auto fight for the more skilled players so that the people that can't bother to learn anything new will stop moaning about new mechanics/champs?
There's very little in this game that can't be played around with some practice and skill. Some of the degen fights in variant come to mind.
Sorry if this stuff just seems too hard for a lot of you but bottom line is, regardless if you want to hear it or not, the problem is not the content
If you people don't wanna evade her sp1 then just don't. When she starts in her fury mode, only survive and hit occasionally only to get some space. Don't push her to sp1 then, which is really easy.
Now, when her armour phase starts, spam heavies and get her to a sp2. Bait it out in her fury mode, evade it or block it. Rinse and repeat. I did this with a 4* sentinal. Any 4* can block multiple sp2s, no worries about dying.
I'm not ashamed to admit even I got rekt but I strategized instead of being salty on the forums.
I have been voting with my wallet when it comes to the harder content. I used to spend more than I care to admit and it has gotten me less excited to go through hard content. Less excitement means I skip out on more and more "deals". Pretty soon that excitement will just move to a different game. If Kabam wants to make content harder create a new monthly quest above uncollected with better rewards.
I'm one of the first to complain about difficulty of recent content, and she was a tough fight but not impossible. I found Sentinel tougher to be honest.

That's a total exaggeration. The entire basis of the argument. People downplay any comment that something is too much and assume people just want something without effort. Only, people aren't that entitled or naive. Not everyone, anyway. We know the difference between a decent challenge and a pinhole. It happens far too often lately. The problem IS the content, and you can only brush it off for so long before you realize the Users are the ones you're brushing off. The same Users that the game is made to entertain. I'm telling you there is most definitely a line between exciting challenge and overboard frustration. Too many times, it's not even in line with the level that it's at. Yet there's always people who pride themselves on getting past it and have to minimize the feedback other people are giving. That's entirely fine if people get some form of pride out of that, but I'm telling you if people continue to be alienated in that way and not heard, there's not going to be many left to debate it. There is a limit you can push the challenge before it just discourages people altogether. You can say they just need to "Git gud!", but that doesn't help anything, and just pours salt on the wound. I tell you this. No one wants to keep trying when it's that frustrating at the beginning of the EQ. When you have month after month of roadblocks, people stop caring. The goal post moves too quickly. Point blank.
@GroundedWisdom while I don't disagree with your point on minimizing others feedback. I do disagree with the goalpost movement being too quick. Its epic difficulty its supposed to be a challenge and not everyone will be able to overcome that challenge. There is nothing wrong with trying and failing. I think the core problem with epic is that everyone who has access to it believe they should be able to beat it. The challenge and struggle are part of the development of skills in this game. People can watch YouTube and see someone like seatin blow through it but do they consider the fact that he is using pots without concern because he is funded. Do people consider the level and depth of his roster also because he is funded. Yes he has some skill but he plays a lot and has a lot of champs to choose from to beat content. Not calling out seatin just using him because he is highly watched for an example. People steamrolling every epic have honed their skills against the nodes and champs we are encountering. Epic is there to be a challenge and defeating epic should give people a sense of accomplishment. Failing against epic should give you motivation to improve your skills rather than jumping on the forum saying it's too hard or unfair. Rather than people creating these threads they should be asking for advice and alternatives for how to fight these champs. Ask for duel options to learn to evade these champs. Nothing short of variant cant be beat with practice and the correct counter champs. Variant has a few fights that are pure resource pits but that was how it was designed. Moving the goalposts and making content harder keeps the game from becoming stagnant.

What? This month is so much easier than the previous months.
That Emma was an easy one shot with 4" 5/50 starky. You just need to know how to evade her, and she honestly isn't that difficult to evade. This months bosses are considerably less of a challenge.

Hes a good counter. Venom would be too, I think. Once she goes to armor mode on oscillate, pin against corner and just spam heavy
