Seriously? Is there any update or "fix" that does NOT cause a bug ever? We notified Kabam prior to the end of the war and they could not verify before the end that it ACTUALLY was only visual? This will change the outcome for the entire season due to ratings not changing, tiers not changing, and matchups not changing. There is no "fixing" all of the effects from yet another bug.

I mean - literally EVERY single war season there has been some major mistake on Kabam's part that has cause and/or cost people....

So what now? We won last war, no increase in war rating and no increase in the multiplier. We are on the edge between tier 3 and 4, this war is tier 4 again, we are loosing major points on the missing multiplier. Is Kabam going go back 2 wars and fix this error? Or should we just say ok, this season we got screwed, better luck next season?

The whole of this situation is quite frustrating for many. Hearing that there were Alliances that COULD'VE jumped a tier in the 1st war is sad. What's more, all of us that play straight up, potentially could've GAINED some ground during the Off Season (my crew is on an 8 win streak). No longer the case thanks to a small percentage of players that can't be bothered to just play the game as it was intended. Those players are the root of the current issue.

While yes, Kabam dropped the ball on turning the war rating system back on, the fact it could happen stems from rotten players. Once again the majority takes a hit thanks to those who look for and exploit any and every loophole out there. Look hard enough, and you find a way to bend the rules. So spare me the 'Kabam should've fixed this sooner' nonsense. Fact is, for every fix they make, it just creates new opportunities for those who are too afraid to play the game straightforward. It's tragic that a game such as this has become SO competitive that people stoop to cheating and manipulation.

This is 2 major changes to AW now that all stemmed from manipulation of the system. Kabam wouldn't have had to worry about turning the function back on had they no reason to turn it off. Simple fact. Now, I'm not blind to the fact this should've been handled sooner, and it clearly will have an impact on many Alliances score wise. So thank all those who keep playing dirty for this, and future changes that most likely will have an impact on the majority. It's truly unfortunate things are the way they are.

Hopefully, we'll get an update on when we'll get our war rating changes from the 1st war of the Season soon. Ideally before the start of next AW cycle. Those war rating points are crucial for the standings to accurately portray our performances in AW via tier multipliers, and get matched up properly. Best wishes to a speedy and proper resolution to this current debacle Kabam.

Pretty sure by Seasons end people score what they put up everytime. Even with the Matchmaking issue where people missed Matches, they still earned what they put up. Have there been issues? Sure. By the end of the Season, everyone gets what they earned.

Any update here? As has been pointed out, this has the potential to affect the outcome of the season for those that experienced this Kabam-caused failure. How will this be made right and fair? When can we have a season without a Kabam failure?

You know, with just by a minute of thought, that there is absolutely no way Kabam can fix this issue right?

This is entirely Kabam fault but you and they can do nothing about it so move on.

I hope the guy who is in charge of AW in Kabam will be cut half of bonus and salary after that.

Give alliances that experienced this bug AW season rewards from 1 tier up. Problem fixed, and no one loses out who had the bug or benefited from the bug by not having it.

It is the difference between Tiers, not getting both Tiers.. To do nothing means any items used in that war meant nothing. Time meant nothing. Potentially the season meaning nothing.

You would be surprised how close the upper tiers are; the loss of the multiplier is HUGE. 1.5x the entire war score for T4 to T3, 1.0x the score for T3 to T2 and T2 to T1. Those that would have dropped a tier gain by keeping that bonus for another war when it should have been lost.

There are 15 wars in a season. You can win 1 and lose the rest. Or vice versa.

The best they can do is giving compensation to alliances affected by this.
Which is what I am suggesting... alliances that were affected by this get a 1 Tier boost in AW season rewards. Gives them motivation to continue the season, gives fair rewards for the maximum affect this mistake had on them. Revives or potions or units do not make up for lost T5 and up rewards, and are thus inadequate for their mistake.

We won our our first war in tier 2 and got no war rating added. Lost the second and now we are on tier 3 war for the third war.

So we should still be in tier 2 with a 7x multiplier and not tier 3 6x multiplier. We could be missing out on 200k points which may make a difference come end of the season.

    Thanks kabam

Still waiting. No changes have been made to the war rating, nor the tier change on the second war, nor the war points and reward adjustments.

After beginning season 11, we couldn’t get points even though we won the fight. BUT after we lost the fight, we lost points..... is it just a visual glitch??? @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit @Kabam Vydious @Kabam Lyra @Kabam Porthos

@ericolor Are you referring to the war itself when you say 'fight?' If so, to help bring some clarity to what happened, the 1st war of Season 11 the war ratings for Tiers 1-5 were still locked from the Off Season. So the outcome of war #1 hasn't been put into the equation as of yet. They rectified the war rating system for war 2 and beyond.

We've yet to receive notification as to when we'll see the war rating adjustments for war #1 though. Judging by the wording, I'm gonna guess you won #1 and lost #2. So no, it's not a visual error, but it is being worked on last we heard. Hopefully we'll get an update as to when we'll see the rating adjustment for war #1 soon. Unfortunately we're kind of stuck waiting until then.

    Hi all,

We've adjusted War Rating for Alliances affected by this issue with locked war ratings during the first war of the season. We granted a flat War Rating increase for those Alliances that were frozen and won the war, based upon the average War Rating increase for winning at their level. We did not reduce War Rating for any Alliances who were frozen but lost their war.

Again, apologies for the inconvenience with this issue and thanks for your patience as we worked toward a resolution.

What about those who were in tier 6 and only got half the war rating increase they should have gotten for a win? And since nobody in tier 5 lost war rating, we didn't make it into tier 5 from our win. So no multuplier increase, less points, etc. If things were working correctly the next war win would have resulted in roughly 120,000 points extra. We are only 50,000 points out of Plat 4 so that's a significant difference.

What’s being done to adjust for tier and multiplier changes because of the error? It can make a significant difference in points for the season.

We want to add the information about our situation.

Although it was the first match, there was no AW rate addition to win.
However, there was no subtraction of the losing alliance in this first game. In other words, it seemed that KABAM forgot to adjust the AW rate in the first match.

The story goes back to the off season.
Whether it won or lost for some reason during the off-season, Tier 5 and above became a mysterious specification with AW rate and Tier being fixed. Once again our alliance finished season 10 at the bottom of Tier 5, so it was fixed at the bottom rate.

On the other hand, the rate for Tier 6 and below was also adjusted during the off-season.
So our alliance started the first game with at Tier 5, but because the rate was fixed, it seems that the rate was lower than the upper part of Tier 6 at the beginning of the first game.
So even though we won, we fell to Tier 6.

This hypothesis is the assumption that all alliance did not adjust the rate of the first game, but there is also a great possibility that they forgot to change the off-season setting.
In the latter case, Tier 5 and above are unregulated and Tier 6 and below are moderate, so even if we won, we fall at Tier 6.
As Kabam noticed it and set the rate adjustment, I think there was an adjustment in the second game.

What kind of alliance was most affected by this mistake?
The answer is who finished season 10 at the bottom of Tier 5.
    That is us.
Since we won the first game, the second game would have to be usually Tier 5.
No matter what Kabam does, it is impossible to restore us.

We start the story from about the impact of being defeated in the second round, Tier 6. Since we won the first game of this season, it should be one of the lowest layers of Tier 5 at the start of the second game.
In that case, even if we lost the second game in Tier 5, the third game would simply return to the lowest level of Tier 5 and there would be no fall in Tier 6.

However, despite the fact that we won the first match, due to Kabam's mistake, we fell to the top level of Tier 6. If the second game was won, we should have returned to Tier 5 bottom after the third game.

However, since we fell to Tier 6, we was defeated in the second round and was one of the top Tier 6 players.
Therefore, even if we win the third game, we are still the top tier 6. So there is no return to Tier 5 unless we win two consecutive wins.

What is the existence of tiers in AW? That is the difference in odds multiplied by the earned points.
AW has about 190,000 points for victory and 130,000 points for defeat, regardless of tier.
The odds of each tier are added to this, and the season rank is determined by the total points for the 12 battles.

By the way, Tier 6 is 3.4 times odds. On the other hand, Tier 5 is × 4.0 times odds.

This point difference is quite large, and Platinum 4 is difficult unless we maintain Tier 5.
If Gold 1 was the goal, this Kabam mistake could have closed our eyes.
However, anger is also raised when we think that we have been thinking about the strategy for Platinum 4, day and night.

That is why we submit this issue again.

Did your adjust consider those points odds???

So you guys only fixed half the problem? Severely disappointed by this, alliances who lost in tier 5 or above first war basically got a free swing with a much higher multiplier in war 2 meaning the points accumulated puts them at an advantage over anyone in a tier below who had won.
The only reason they have got this advantage is because you guys have made a mistake yet you either fail to understand or fail to acknowledge it. This is a competitive game mode and you have put many alliances at a competitive disadvantage with no resolution, compensation or apology.

Thanks for not fixing the problem. We are still short points since we moved down a tier one war sooner because you guys messed up

This is not an answer. You raised the rating now when most of us don’t care. 1st war we had 2,552 and so is the 2nd war. This war rating is between tier 3 and 4. We had this rating and played in both categories during off season. Both wars we had tier 4, but if the war rating was working properly, the 2nd war for us was supposed to be in tier 3. but because you messed up, we lost a lot of points for wrong multiplier. How is this in any way fair? How is you adjusting the rate now giving us back what we lost?
