Is it possible to pull full t4 class and or basic catalysts from the daily expert events?

Why all of a sudden does the catalyst events give you abolsutely nothing. I used to pull three full tier 3 class catalysts for 100% it on hard now I don't even get a full one

I'm currently stuck on 5.1.2 with a team made up of a 5* r3 Gr, 4* R5 quake and aegon, and 4* R4 Hyperion and arc angel(or proxima and doc oc) My question is, is it worth r5 another 4 star or should I just start looking at 5 stars, I have a 5* korg I don't use. And am only a few thousand shards from my next 5 star
