Slow isn't guaranteed to stop evades, it's only a -100% chance. If there's something increasing evade chance past 100% (like House of Mirrors does), it can still leave a chance to evade while slowed. True strike should've stopped it though.

I feel like they should just go with the simple solution: Hard code it so that when on defense for the AI, the parry mastery only works on the first Medium or Light attack. Letting the AI reparry mid-combo is just not a great gameplay mechanic, with very little counterplay. Just get rid of it entirely so that you don't…

Lol, this reads like a literal textbook example of unnecessary, convoluted game design: 1.) You've introduced two new currencies that share the same first three words in their name. That's begging for confusion. Why not call the tokens something else? Call them War Medals, or War Shard Vouchers or even just War Tokens.…

An idea I always thought might be interesting for Mystique is to have her shapeshifting play a role in causing misinformation in pre-battle decisions. I.e. when you place/pick Mystique for defense in War/BG, she appears as a different character to your opponent, cause them to bring in the wrong counter. And perhaps she…

I'm having this issue as well. It gets to the loading screen and the little circle on the bottom just spins forever.
-
I'm having the exact same problem. Charges worked on the first fight, but after reviving, the fervor is only going up one at a time, despite a 12 stack of armor.

What a weird false dichotomy. How about Option 3: Kabam realize they overstepped the line on how greedy they can get away with and dial it back to address the backlash? You know.. the sensible, adult response when people realize they've made a mistake?
-
I'm a bit surprised by the response in this thread, especially coming from several folks who have in previous threads stressed the importance of how BG is a competitive mode, but is now suddenly okay with people literally sitting on their hands and still getting to win matches. Objectively, pausing to win points in BG is a…

This narrative makes very little sense. How can they be independent considerations? Resource you can bring to do a piece of content absolutely has to be considered as a function of the time needed to acquire that resource. Otherwise, by your logic, Kabam can give players 1 revive a month and keep the same cap, and that…
-
I've seen you mentioned this several times in these types of threads, but for some reason you only ever talk about the inventory cap, and not the actual timegate, which I would argue is the larger restriction. Yes we can get 68 revives, but it takes 34 days to accumulate. And that's for one path of the necropolis. Under…

This took me a few revives to figure out, so for people wondering about this: It's because Aegon's 2nd medium is a double hit, and for some reason counts as doing Shang chi's MM combo all by itself for the node. So if you do MLLM, it triggers both the unblockable (MLLM) and the slow (MM) at the same time in a single combo.…

6+ year old account with Breaker of Thrones (100% act 6 exploration) asking about 6.3 boosts. Very interesting.

I recognize I'm likely taking a troll bait here, but I think it's an interesting discussion nevertheless. Your response is actually a classic example of the Dunning–Kruger effect. In short, you're not good enough at this game yet to recognize or understand what you can learn from MSD and Sweedah's videos. Which is why they…

This you?

I love this. Looking forward to reading the whole journey. Something I notice you didn't mention is masteries. If your plan is to brute force through with only Aegon, I'd heavily recommend warping your entire mastery setup around him. Once Aegon is ramped, he doesn't need or really benefit from willpower, because…

Literally any change? It takes some impressive mental gymnastics to claim that making players wait for the cookie is somehow a pro-player move. Adding a time gate to the rewards doesn't add more content. It does not "maintain content diversity". The same players who finish the content Day 1 and complain about nothing to…

It might be easier if you showed what champions you have available, but the main strategies are: 1.) Someone that counters unstoppable (Valk, Shang-chi, Abs Man, Cap IW, anyone with a slow), and just keep hitting him so that the regen doesn't stack up. 2.) Someone with heal block or petrify (Warlock, Penni, Void, Cap IW,…

Maybe just me, but I'm a bit puzzled why we've gotten to the point where there's a 4 page "discussion" and multiple threads about this. If it is indeed true that a subset of players are locked into going first every match, then I don't see how anyone can argue that it is not a bug. Like what is there to actually discuss?…

If I wanted to throw around baseless accusations regarding the two fights in these pictures, I'd personally start with the fight that looks an awful like someone took some liberties with the pause button to cheese Nick at full HP.

You can make the placing system symmetric as well, without much loss in strategy. Consider the same analysis. Current system: Round 1: 1a) Player 1 - Placing defender, has 7 choices, opponent has 7 choices 2a) Player 1 - Placing attacker, has 6 choices, opponent has 6 choices 1b) Player 2 - Placing defender, has 7 choices,…

Can you help explain why this can't at least be mitigated like in other games through some kind of active boundary detection that occurs at the end of each match? Every match result in the game goes through the servers. And the developers knows the exact damage and defense values behind every champion, and how fast a…

Just so you know, Odin's prefights can't apply to himself. Activating them in BG does nothing for the fight.
-
As I mentioned at the start, this is assuming a 50% win/loss ratio. So over two matches you'll have: (1 win (6750 points ) + 1 Loss (2250 points))/2 = 9000/2 = 4500 points per match on average.

I can't speak for the folks doing higher AQ maps, perhaps it was easier, but I put in what I'd consider pretty significant effort in AQ this week to try and hit this on Map 5 (including using alliance energy refills). I was able to maxed out the longest path each day, and I think I ultimately only missed maybe 1-2 bosses,…
-
I think one perspective that I haven't seen you touch upon (unless I missed it) is that, unlike most other competitive games, MCOC has an entry cost per match played. Thus, unless you're willing to burn energy refills/units on tokens, there is a resource restricted upper limit on the number of BG matches a player can play…

I don't think there is an option to get doubloons for gold. If you're talking about the last option in the store, you read it backwards. That is to spend doubloons to get gold.
-
I see this "but it doesn't affect my account!" argument at lot. And I feel like it comes from a lack of understanding regarding how the progression system evolves in these types of games. The progression speed of top end players actually have a huge impact on lower players, because they set the pace for what baseline power…

Kabaam really ran themselves into a corner with this one. Now for future hard content, they can't use True Focus to shut down Quake and Ghost without also enabling Kitty to just faceroll the content with this.
-
It's hard to tell if you're joking. But at 5 duels a day, 100 fights is 20 days of duels. Ch1 of UC has 7 fights for half a bar of energy. So 100/7 = 14 runs = 7 energy refills = 210 units All of this for 1000 5* shards and 250 6* shards. Not to mention this is just the Cav tier. There's still another 300 fights in the…
