If we are focussing on the changes that are being made. They do nothing to make me change my mindset regarding potions. I’ll stick to only using them for story mode bosses on occasions
-
That’s a lot of words to basically just say “carry on only using revives on your high ranked champs”
-
Fixed it for you. The thing you need to remember is that competition type game modes in any game that require multiple wins in a row can’t also have matchmaking conditions that try to get everyone to a 50% win rate.
-
Ah you’re a prof hoff fan. Explains everything
-
4* colossus 5* og iron man or og cpt marvel 6* beast 7* Mysterio Never seems to start particularly well apparently (having said that getting 5k tick poisons with mysterio is pretty nice)
-
I agree, though I think that would be an incredibly short sighted decision. If I saw that a game I play and spend regularly on was ending development of story and whale content, my first assumption would be that they’re scaling back ready to end support of the game, therefore I’d have even less of a reason to buy…

I guess my issue with that comment of theirs is that I’ve not seen anything to say this game in particular is struggling. As a whole, Netmarble appears to be but also this game still accounts for most of the revenue (based on some article about end of 2022 losses).
-
Might as well add it here as well. The mention in the update about people not chasing new champs because old ones do fine. I think it’s unfair to blame that entirely on people revive farming. Part of that is a problem (or perhaps not from Kabam pov) that arises from champ acquisition. I’ll use next months champs as an…
-
Still don’t like the removal of this farm, but if this was all released together, it’d be reasonable. Howver saying we have to wait 5-6 months for all those exciting level 1 potions available in the apothecary to be improved/put in the bin is annoying.
-
They sometimes give me an opening… when I go to parry and hit the button instead. Sometimes it gives the opponent an opening instead…
-
Is matchmaking still some variation of prestige based?
-
Ok if roster doesn’t matter, only skill. Every persons BG deck is normalised to the stats of a maxed 5*. And everyone can match anyone in their current tier. You’ll quite possibly find that those paragons you’re saying have a skill issue could probably still win against you more often than not.
-
Yeah they could do with changing it to something like you need double the amount of points to go up a rank, but you get +2 for a win, -1 for a loss. If you get a streak going, it’s the same as it is currently in terms of matches to go up. But also allows people to hold a 50% win rate (which is what they seem to want with…

Man I must say it’s wild that all these thronebreaker with 1-2 r4s are only just now fighting 14k+ prestige players in victory track… I also have 2 r4s and I’ve been facing the stacked 14k+ opponents in 70% of matches for the previous 2 seasons.
-
Crazy thing is I was having those types of matches with a similar prestige to you 2-3 seasons ago
-
Nothing has changed in that regard, I’ve come across paragons as a thronebreaker in almost every match for the last 2 seasons. I had 1 R4 then, up to 2 now, hasn’t made a difference in the matches. And it starts from bronze 3 lol so not like I got an easy exit.
-
Only way I’m getting those 5* relic shards from the objectives is if you stick something valuable but not relic related in there too.
-
Don’t see why this needs monitoring and evaluating tbh. It’s the exact same situation as what happened with war. That took so long to deal with that again, people started being hesitant on ranking high prestige. Or just quitting war entirely.
-
I think it’s assumed that it’s prestige of the account. Prestige of the selected 30 would allow sandbagging to continue as the 2*s drag down your average roster prestige. However I’ve also seen some people say that when they ran suicides they got matched with stronger people more frequently (and as a thronebreaker using…
-
Would’ve been nice if they highlighted the changes within the character spotlight so I could spot the differences. Incinerate lasting 16 seconds seems updated? As well as the plasma changes you all mentioned
-
Tbf OP has a point, no matter what time of day I play, I only ever face paragons with my single r4 6*. Wouldn’t be so bad if I then faced a few weaker accounts to balance it out but never seems to be the case
-
You sure you want SBMM? You know that type of matchmaking that aims to give everyone a 50% win rate? You sure you want that in a mode where winning one, then losing one gets you nowhere
-
I was working on act 5 with a small selection of maxed 4* and a couple r4 5* by the time I got to exploring it all back in the day and got my first maxed out 5* from the 100% act 5 rewards. However I’ve seen larger accounts than yours struggling with act 5 so I guess you’re ahead of the curve with how fast the early game…
-
Similar scenarios have been around for a while. Wouldn’t worry about a ban
-
Can’t wait for it to return (but not bugged) and everyone that begged for its return to then complain exactly like with this rocket scrapyard
-
Is it actually prestige or total hero rating it’s based on? Did we ever figure that out. I’ve gone on the assumption it’s prestige and stopped caring for r4 materials myself. Get enough matches against paragons as it is with the 1. Might as well bring up the full deck to r3 to be reasonably competitive as most won’t affect…
-
Picked tech because out of 130~ 6*s my best techs are P2099, vision and rocket. Best option was Guardian so not quite what I was aiming for tbh.
-
So what will the cap be in the store? Find it incredibly unlikely that it’s completely uncapped on how many times I can pick a specific item and I don’t want to save all the scrap up only to find I can only buy the T5b 5 times or whatever.
-
And yet there’s probably a lot of people that didn’t reach gladiator circuit that have a much superior roster but because victory track matches on prestige or summoner rating, they can’t, but they could beat you. And that is going to cause issues sooner rather than later because why should you get better rewards than…
-
It would, but the whole gimmick of rockets workshop was the quest to spend the currency (and the mastery cores that were available) so when everyone begs for it to return… obviously they have to include the most painful part.
