Angela > Prof X. I am returning after a while away, so bear that in mind but have played a number of these. I prefer adaptable > Fun > hard hitting. I think Angela is awesome at R3 but benefits greatly from the dupe and sigs. Prof X has places where he shines but his mechanics are really important to get comfortable with.…

Thanks. I needed this. You’re absolutely right. Not kidding.

Additionally I talked about where Kabam have made some nice changes to the structure of the game in other areas. This wasn’t a rant, it was written as criticism which I believe is warranted. That’s the small and large point of it.

I don’t expect everyone to understand the concepts of equity, equality or equanimity. But I wont stop using the terms when they fit. I’m talking about systems architectures in the post that are failing. It’s that simple.

This is how I was with Elsa. I love playing her. It took me finally pulling the trigger to pay for a Skill Nexus crystal to finally get her at 6*. It was worth it.
-
I like it. It doesn’t solve the AI woes but does create a space for good gameplayers to take on appropriately matched champs.
-
—— Clearly you didn’t read beyond the first paragraph, but thank you for the response. I’m not complaining about the mismatches on their own. I expect to play harder accounts, but also expect a better AI experience, a more equitable reward structure and disinsentivized structure for lingering with the intent to wrack up…

@Ahmynuts I appreciate the quote from the devs. While I agree with the tenor of what they’re saying, it doesn’t address the many frustrations I have. This isn’t just about “My matchups are too hard”. It’s the circular nature of poorly thoughts out reward structures incentivizing high level players TO NOT PLAY higher level…

Example of my matchups since Silver/Gold and now Platinum.
-
It’s frustrating. I’ll open a ticket too
-
Thanks for the responses. 🤦🏽

I figured this was most likely the case. Thanks for engaging. I’m mostly asking because the damage I was taking through the block was higher than expected base damage against a 6* MT. I will try to follow up after I test another champ against CG the next round I have the chance.

I’ve not had my heavies parried. In addition to the intercepts, which chafe, I’ve had the AI heavy then attack before a response, which I can’t do because of timing mechanics & distance to oppenent, break my combos midway, block my specials after combo, even intercept after they launched a special 2 which I’ve blocked.…

This is honestly all that I’m saying. There comes a point of diminishing returns. I play the game because I like the challenge. I like learning the champs. I like learning as I move along. What is frustrating is that my moves aren’t always caught by the device, and if they are, they’re now examined by the AI in seeming…

Really getting frustrating. So not only is Parry not consistently Parrying but combo-SP chain is getting broken.
-
Agree. Also, how do you grind out ISO for advancing your 6*s? I’m finding ways to get T5b (it’s slow), gold & shards, but finding enough ISO is what really holding up my progress. Wondering how others are doing this in a practical/consistent way.
-
Hear you. This just happened to me. Took me a few seconds to realize why my champ used an SP when I didn’t want it, lol.
-
It’s frustrating & good, long-playing teammates are starting to opt out of playing. Losing those players is hard on an Alliance. They’re the core that I build around.
-
Thanks for the feedback. I’m interested in opinions from people who use him, so appreciate your take. I didn’t realize that he’s more tanky than Mags X & has incredible SP3 damage (Mags X SP3damage is meh). I am really interested in what separates the two so am happy to hear about some differences between them. Mags X also…

Yes, sorry I didn’t make that clear in the follow up post. Activating 2-3 Adapt abilities in the fights leading up to Path 2, you gain the ability to stack Furies when you use back-to-back medium hits (including finishing one combo a medium & starting another with a medium). Activating your Furies is how you then make…
-
So, for some follow up - you need to use your Adapt pre-fight buff 3 times in total going into the fight against Venom in order to gain up to 9 Furies and to make him vulnerable. Additionally you should use 3 Devour buffs to nullify his buffs and regen yourself. Have just tried this once and it worked (didn’t win though).…

I play awakened CAIW MUCH more than Void - and I awakened Void first. If you are comfy with Cap’s Parry/Heavy/SP combo he crushes w/ damage; if a Cosmic is on the team, you’ll armor break + that damage. He glances. Shrugs off debuffs. Really nice overall character. Void is literally a slow burner who definitely has his…

Thanks for the info. I’ve tried the back-to-back medium hits but doesn’t trigger a Fury. Maybe I’m performing the mediums incorrectly. I’ll give it a few more tries.
-
More info. Venom has Buff Up, which requires the attacker to have 3 or more buffs in order to do damage. Using SP1 grants one random buff on SuSym. Back to back mediums are supposed to trigger a Fury buff but won’t for some reason. Anyone else notice this?

—— I appreciate the feedback! I hadn’t realized the progressive nature of the contest according to Alliance strength, wins, progress, etc. That’s helpful. I’ll take that back to the Alli. We are still pretty new and are struggling with morale and getting buy-in for about 10 players to take part consistently. I guess I…

Thank you all for the help and insights! I am tenacious, and will stick with it. I think I’m going to rank up BWCV but Ghost (learning to play her more effectively) remains top of the list. Ultimately, I like my roster but realize its not yet mature enough for the fight and 6.1.6 so will keep trying to build my 5* and 6*…

Right now, thats going to be my strat.

That was amazing. Nicely done. I have a lot of practice to do with her, lol.
