**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

  • Thanks for the heads up. The current state of the game is pretty awful.
  • It would be great to see OG spidey get some fun mechanics from the spider family, as well as some updates to bring him more in line with the modern science class. I’d love to see him get a revamped passive taunt mechanic, since being an irritant is a huge part of his strategy. It would be super cool if the passive taunt…
  • So far, so good. Ebony maw (awakened), Gorr, Scarlet Witch, Hulkbuster (awakened), Valkyrie, and Galan. The last 6* featured was the first one I really went for, and I had pretty poor luck. This one has been amazing in comparison. I hope everyone gets some great luck with these crystals
  • 6* Misty Knight, who I haven’t pulled above 3* yet
  • I’m saving from now on. I opened 2 crystals since the announcement, and awakened Groot and X-23. Kinda feels like the game is telling me that waiting is a good idea, haha. I’ll open cavs, but that’s it. On the plus side, I opened a Flexing Cav last night and finally pulled 6* Herc, Guess I’ll be saving for the next 6*…
  • It looks like they’ll be triple dipping this year. Pretty unfortunate
  • Yondu: pleasantly surprised. A pretty low-key tweak that still seems to modernize his kit. He’s got some burst-y damage in longer fights, and his ability to remove prowess gives him a niche role in the game. DPX: it feels like something is missing? Like a way to pause his bleeds, or extend his bleeds, or something cool…
  • I wish that sp3 animations were skipped by default in battlegrounds, or had an X second cutoff. The difference in length of time between champ animations can make the difference in a tight match, and sometimes you need to use the sp3 in order to access a key piece of utility or upgrade your damage output. I think a 5…
  • He’s a great champ; I still use my 5* all of the time. He’s got a ton of utility, and he has a Swiss Army knife kit that’s flexible and easy to fit to your needs. If I can awaken my 6 *, I’ll rank and sig him up right away. He may not be as flashy in the current meta, but he is still an absolute workhorse and an answer to…
  • Ouch, did you reach out to support to see if you could swap them back?
  • I’d say herc is the more worthy of the two. Herc is suicide friendly, and gives your other hero champs an attack boost if you’re running suicides. His sig ability also gives you increased combat power after completing a feat, allowing you to get to your specials faster if you’re not worried about/running recoil. Corvus is…
  • It’s only been recently that I’ve struggled with any t4cc, but the RNG aspect of crystals is pretty frustrating. I was all ready to R3 Kitty Pryde back on March 4. I popped the remaining t4cc crystals I had and got zero mutant. I was already overflowing with science and skill t4cc, and the majority I popped were science…
  • Pretty great haul: Doom from the nexus, Knull from a featured, and spider-Gwen from a regular crystal. Got a cosmic AG, I’m trying to decide if I should use it on Knull or wait to see if I ever pull Herc. All told, best lucky opening I’ve had
  • 7.4.4 Power shield lane is perfect Vulture cheese. Get to a sp2, and the opponent starts melting. Parry & use the raptor strike to manage power, & you’re good to go
  • It’s stackable, in that you can probably get 2-3 on your opponent and get a special off before they fall off in 10 seconds. So you get an extra bleed or two on specials, which you have to fire off and trade off your souls (and their attack boost) in order to benefit. It was a missed opportunity to allow Guilly to work…
  • I’d like to see what was outlined when the buff program was given a boost: less painful “dud” champs in the game, aligning older champs with current class norms, increasing the pool of “useful” champs, and making the game more fun. Not every champ should be amazing, and not every buff needs to completely overhaul or…
  • Don’t level the champ up
  • He’s a weird champ, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much shock damage he can do with the right setup. I’ve run my 5*R1 against WS with mangog, war machine, and Heimdall/Angela for synergies. The hit count wasn’t impressive, but he did a ton of shock damage. Any nodes or synergies that can add a fury buff boosts his…
  • They reduced her crit damage increase per soul, lowering her damage potential (unspent souls gave her big yellow numbers, and ramped up her synergy with purgatory a ton). Her regen was added to her base kit (nice), and while it removed the RNG element, it is pretty worthless. Her additional layer of armor was removed,…
  • She’s great for kinetic transference nodes, and she has some nice power control/gain mechanics. Her shield scales with the opponent’s attack, so she is pretty sustainable, even against opponents with huge attack values. She really relies on a specific rotation to max out her damage, so check out some videos so you’re…
  • Mutant: Jubilee Skill: Masacre Mystic: Man-Thing Science: Spider-Gwen, who I wish more folks used Cosmic: Carnage Tech: IMIW
  • I don’t know, his ability description sounded an awful lot like Nova with an evade mechanic. I think his brief ability description was a turnoff to many. Plus, he’s a science champ rather than a mutant, so there should be some concern about how the devs will fit him into the class norms. Im hoping Agatha comes out on top…
  • No February buffs. That’s disappointing. And to wait until the end of January to make the announcement doesn’t feel very pro-player, or lessen the disappointment. Putting off disappointing news is a sure fire way to make your player base unhappy, especially if the news seems contradictory to previous announcements. Telling…
  • Hopefully they plan on having a MUCH more exciting 5-week EQ the next time it happens. This January was maybe not the best month to place the extra week, with no buffed champs, a dusty side quest, super-weird arena schedule, and new champs that aren’t the most exciting. It would be nice to get a little info tease on the…
  • I’d save it. Ibomb, Mr. F, S2099 would all benefit more from an AG. There might be a banging science champ or two released in the near future that absolutely needs the sig ability. You might even wait for *checks notes* Quicksilver, if he’s the summoner’s choice.
  • It would also depend on whether the crystals have “exclusive” champs like Hype that haven’t been released into the general pool, as well. The featured crystal’s pool also is a huge factor. This featured is really great, and is the best one since the Apoc/CGR one last year. When the 24 champ 6* featured pool has a high…
  • It sounds like, starting with Kitty Pryde, once champs enter the 5* basic pool, their 6* version will be added to the 6* basic pool. Which is a really nice change.
