I found it to be enjoyable outside of photon. It took restarting a few times to get some of the fights down, but she is the only fight that really requires items. Realistically, all that needs to happen to his immortality is remove the unblockable, because then it’s much harder to keep it up for an extended period of time. He seems fine to me. Crit chance is frustrating sometimes. Maybe there was a node or champ that reduced his crit chance too.

Over the years and updates it’s always felt like parry timing is something you have to adjust to every month, but never anything like this where you can’t punish anything.

Fair enough, we only do map 6 so ranked around 400 and no r4 mats from that.

The last two months they’ve loaded things up with gold. Thronebreaker monthly and the side quests have had lots. Went from serious gold problems to 12 million since the beginning of the year. I’ve ranked champs from scratch and champs to r4 so it’s not like I’m not spending it either.

Felt like the victory track didn’t reward skilled play, just whoever had the best draft. While I enjoy drafting your opponent into a corner, the fights themselves were boring. Had a real good win loss record but didn’t make it to GC until two days ago. Normally make it to GC at two weeks.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but your opponent was running conduit defense tactic. One of the main things for that is regen rate can’t be changed. So despair would never activate. If they weren’t running that then I’m stumped, but that’s the easy explanation.

My biggest annoyance is when they have a heavy attack that reaches double the distance it normally does.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. I try to throw sp1s just to dump power. But even then some matchups are impossible.

Isn’t the idea they don’t want people joining with all their alts, contributing points and leaving. Or worse, using fraudulent units to do the same.

Agree 100% on that last part. Most times you could probably even get away with 3 champs for the boss. If you’re bringing in 5 champs just for the path, that’s just bad planning and team composition.

I don’t think anybody is complaining about the difficulty of nebula or colossus. But putting those champs on those nodes is just awful design.

A fury passive is different than a fury buff. Example, the fury that Venom gets is a buff, the one that colossus or captain america infinity gets from parry heavy is a passive. The node only works with buffs not passives.

As stated above it should just be based on what division you’re in regardless of progression level. Something I thought Kabam learned a long time ago with that whole war matchmaking debacle.
