Why are defenders able to evade mid-heavy after stun?

Fighting in 6.4.4 right now, Spider Gwen is the oppo. 20% limber node countered with full Domino trinity.
Parry, begin heavy. First hit of heavy makes contact while Gwen is stunned, and Domino gets ready to throw the grenade. Stun expires while I’m in the middle of heavy animation. Gwen evades the second hit of my heavy and immediately counters, now I’m dead.
Why is this a thing?

They don’t evade specials after being stunned
Corvus's first hit of his Heavy obviously strikes them, but then it is sort of “hope and pray” that the ENTIRE Heavy (all 3 hits) can land and knock Spidey/NC down (because the parry-stun expires before either the 2nd or 3rd hit of his Heavy).
Just the way it is. Once the stun expires they can evade the subsequent hits of Heavy, Medium, or Light attacks that are multi-hit attacks.
@Pbb22 I don't know why it's a thing. I don't get how NC or Gwen still evades IWIMs repulsors on Challenger Map, Path 3, Tier 2 in AWar on enhanced evade node since his description says repulsors "can't" be evaded. There isn't a % on repulsors & the node enhances the ability accuracy of evade by 40%. That's not including when they evade 1 hit in a combo & counter or throw a SP to ur face in between the next hit in a combo. You should hit them after the "evaded" hit. That would be 2 moves in 1. It's happened to me w/IWIM evading his 1st L & throwing a SP or countering before his 2nd L. Now even if we could "auto evade" & counter mid combo, I don't think any of us humanoids have the speed to register that & throw a SP before or at the same time as their next hit.
@Ahitlaw @SummonerNR @Whathappened I agree it does happen & sucks. But Kabam should at least respond, explain or "fix" this. That would give us the same ability,...but just like casinos, the odds are not in our favor, tie doesn't go to us & the house ultimately wins. Lol
When you parry a defender they are stunned from a non contact hit and there is a timer on the stun. When the timer ends the defender can activate evade abilities. This happens more with limber since it reduces stun duration.
So to answer your question, as an attacker we can't do this since limber is only a defender node and doesn't affect attackers. You can adjust mastery's to help but it won't be as effective as limber would be.
Kabam you my now close this post because it’s not helpful.
