Legend Run Kick-out?

Hi, this is my first post here. I have recently been scouring the forums looking for some helpful tips for legend runs. I am pleased that this place is quite helpful. Unfortunately, I attempted a legend run (yeah, I know it's a bit early) and got kicked out of the game/disconnected after the first few quests. I want to know if this will affect my time or if it has happened to anyone else. I know lag counts, but how about being kicked out? I am most afraid that being disconnected will invalidate my time.

    May add a minute or two on... but shouldn't invalidate the time!

    You can leave game and come back in (or get disconnected/reconnected, etc) as many times as you want. But overall time is based on REAL-TIME CLOCK Start and End. Not just duration of time spend in game or in fights.

    Thank you Karatemike415 and SummonerNR. This makes me relieved. Also, SummonerNR, since you were talking about the timing system, I was wondering when the clock starts. I just started my stopwatch the moment I hit "begin quest".
