Honestly, the reason I don't like the 7.2 rewards is cause we are getting a custom boss, who is likely to be very challenging, so I'd expect a 50% t5cc crystal/ selector, or a class nexus, but if the boss is easy, Im not gonna complain about the rewards
50% just seems like a tough sell for 6 paths of 7 fights (6+boss) when you know there are two more chapters to come. They’ve boxed themselves in at that point.
I do think if there’s a change in difficulty, it should be reflected in rewards, and if there isn’t, they should announce it early to shut us up.
All of the difficulty talk makes no sense. The game is a rewards based progression style game. The story content is the backbone of the game. Difficulty and rewards in regards to story content is a different topic. This isn't WAR. This isn't a special quest. This is the Backbone of the game. For 6+ years each time new story content was added the rewards have increased. This is a game where progression and rewards are the entire foundation of how the game works. I get Kabam not wanting to increase rewards much. I thought the rewards were great for 7.1 for the amount of effort required. And If 7.2 is like 7.1 than i will still think these rewards are more than worthwhile for the amount of effort. However, not giving them a slight bump goes against the foundation of the game and the precedent kabam has set. Make the completion rewards 12K 6 * instead if 10K. Make the path 6* shards 1K instead of 750. Bump the T2 A on paths from 3 to 4. It's not drastic. It's not game changing but at least it is consistent with the system they have designed and given us for 6+ years. These changes would be in line with the rewards bumps from 6.1-6.2-6.3. Not increasing completion rewards and shard rewards for exploration at all is a slap in the face. I's not like i even care that much about the extra 5ishK 6* shards i am suggesting. It's about my trust in the developers to remain true to the format of the game and the precedent they have set for how their game works.
I agree. The whole rewards based on difficulty is super toxic to even read. Like you said it isnt a top competitive game mode like war or a real difficult challenge mode. Its the backbone that players need to progress, and for that progression to be meaningful the rewards have to be on par with the state of the economy. 5* are slowly beginning to lose value and 6* shards need to be more readily available

I am not sure but in 7.1 we get a passive fury on 6* champs for extra 700 attack... In 7.2 I am not seeing any fury,... Are they still getting that 700 extra damage??

Been changed months ago, the attack bonus is still there, but the fury icon is gone.
