Can we get an update on how far are we in regards to the introduction of Mastery 2.0?
and if the community can participate in a beta server for the mastery update to provide feedback in order to accelerate the development of the highly anticipated change to the game.
Thank you
our QoL hero @Kabam Zero , can you give us an update please?

I'm only asking about the date when we gonna see them, it's so tedious to swap between mastery setups.
Flawed design concept to begin with which is root issue that needs overhaul. Cost should be removed and load outs added.
In the meantime, @Kabam Miike since we have been waiting years for Mastery enhancements, could you partner with the game team to remove the cost until the 2.0 Masteries get released. The initial beta for battlegrounds did it right.
@Kabam Miike you have the power, “Make Masteries great again!”
Per AW, the cost ranges from 90 to 200 units, considering the exchange for positioning or for any specific match-ups.
This in a 12-war season averages out to 1,500 units.
Currently a season lasts about 30 days.
In a week of arena/3 days events it is possible to get something around 1000 units, depending on your luck with the battlechips.
That is, from 4 weeks, you spend practically 2 farming units in the arena just to exchange proficiencies.
And I'm not even counting here the expense of amplifiers to play the highest levels of AW.
Yes, Kabam is a company and needs money, but bro, they already make a lot of money selling resources like 6* sigstones, tier 6 basics, tier 3 alpha, crystals...
Competitive modes shouldn't cost more than time and dedication, two factors I didn't even consider in this calculation because they're not quantifiable. Charging recharge in the battleground, OK, I don't agree but I understand, but playing suicide in the battleground is putting yourself at an extreme disadvantage, another way to spend units swapping proficiencies, or is some fool here going to want to spend 12 hours a week making arena without suicides?
First 2 switches per "day" are free, then it costs you 15 units to switch between one of your say 4 standard builds to another, then 30, then 45.
I totally understand why we shouldn't be able to switch masteries on a whim in between every fight... but say setting them one way just to place war defenders and then setting them back should not cost units. Changing them say every fight along the way of doing an abyss run... that I have more patience for the expense.
One may also want to have one set of masteries for "BG" defenders and another for "BG attackers" much like AW. While looking into options for masteries 2.0, I would ask that idea be taken into consideration, and have the ability to lock in your "BG defender masteries" when you edit your deck, and have them be independent from whatever masteries you are using in other game modes.
@Kabam Thel
No specific details needed, in general: can we expect any changes this year or no chance.
It would affect decisions on whether to invest into mastery cores or not (i.e. is it worth spending units on them or no point).
Consider that it may also affect the amount of unit deals people get in July. It would be a good business decision to announce positive changes to the mastery system to motivate players to unlock expensive masteries / spend units (including getting July unit offers) to do that.
Something needs to be updated as well.
We understand the Masteries rework has taken longer than anticipated but I want to reassure you that the changes are still being worked on and you will see them in the future.
With the development of Battlegrounds there’s an additional importance for Masteries as you’ll want to make changes depending on the champions you’ll want to use, however it also adds a layer of complexity to the rework.
While we do not have details on a specific timeline, the plan is to make this process much more approachable for players upon its full implementation. As more details become available to us, we will be sure to pass them onto you!
Thank you for your patience.
I'll put it over here next to bases and wish crystals.
thanks nonetheless.
