Where is the compensation?

I thought we were supposed to be compensated for this broken game being broken for months and months? I’m just curious are we going back on our word or what is happening? I’m not trying to be mean here I just want to know. I’ve even seen some of my buddies get another package dated the 26th of may yet I didn’t get one. Please elaborated on what If anything is happening before I shell out money on July 4th. Thanks.

Kabam are in a bind of their own making, either the game is fixed so the final compensation that has been promised is due or it's not fixed and we should be getting the top up weekly comp to deal with the game not functioning.

My game is worse since the refactor. Timings are off which they've said may happen when using champs, but timings being off for the AI is a different matter (stand-up intercepts, throwing a special from a Mr Negative/Elsa intercept mechanic etc). I've obviously reported these bugs into the void of the bug report form but don't hold out much hope as with that and compensation - communication hasn't been great.

I'd prefer some blunt honestly over what we've got. If they said the game isn't fixed yet, but we don't want to give out compensation due to it hitting our bottom line and the final compensation was a miscommunication I'd be fine with that as at least it acknowledges that the game is still bust

That first run will also coincide with July 4th so the aim is for ppl to expend resources doing it, get no compensation and then spend over that weekend...compensation will only logically appear in mid to late July when there isnt much need for it.

All the people making snarky comments are the ones who will be the first to complain about the compensation not being good enough. Comp will be sent out, but only once the issue is fully resolved. Just because they rolled out a fix, does not mean it is fixed. They are still collecting data to make sure the fix sticks and works for everyone. So it will probably come after 4th July, not before.

Also, Kabam is choosing to focus more on the 10% player base that generate 90% of their revenue. So they will look for data points from such players more to make sure their gameplay works good.

my problem with this whole compensation mess is that when we were getting weekly compensation packages for aq and aw, people were reporting bugs left and right. now, when compensation is over, there has only been increased pressure to report the bugs. kabam valkyrie is copying and pasting the same bug template 20 times a day, and bug discussions are being closed and we're being told to fill out a google form to report the bug. this wasn't being done when weekly compensation was being given. bugs are being reported at the same, if not a higher rate than when we were getting compensation. there's no reason to declare "the game is fixed enough" to not give out resources to counteract the issues. issues are still there, bugs are being reported, and little to no progress is being made. and you wonder why people are leaving, alliances are having trouble finding players, it's because so many people are leaving the game or playing it less, because there's no progress being made and there's nothing to help get past these issues for the players

could we be seeing units in compensation as a help and encourage factor for july deals? maybe even like 15-25% worth of a deals worth of units wouldnt hurt.

i have no recollection of this. depending on how old it is, it might be outdated and they could've revised it since then. but definitely would like a screenshot or link of that if you can find it.

I have no positive expectations on this "large compensation package"...
I got the feeling its going to be done with the NEW TIER, meaning.. Paragon will get sweet stuff, TB will get OK stuff and Cavs/Everyone elses will get shafted...
I HOPE I am wrong since the issues happened when THERE WAS NO NEW TIER.

I disagree. I think Kabam, who makes the most money in July 4 and cyber weekend, will want a happy player base willing to spend some money heading into July. If a compensation is provided in June, people will have more faith in the game and be willing to spend money. At least that’s one way to look at it.
