Greetings Summoners!

We’re kicking off our much-anticipated “Fun in the Sun(spot)” Summer Sale tomorrow! This annual sale has taken on many forms, but it always means one thing… great deals on rare items and resources!

The Fun in the Sun(spot) sales event will run from Friday, June 30, 10:00 AM PDT to Friday, July 7, 10:00 AM PDT.

You can expect BIG bonuses when buying Unit packages, and this year, you’ll be able to buy one extra of each package in the new Summoner’s Market! Don’t forget, Summoner’s Market packages include even more Units!

Check out the Summoner’s Market on our website at playcontestofchampions.com. As pointed out by DNA3000, ensure you are only purchasing from the one official Summoner’s Market on playcontestofchampions.com.

If you want more information on the Summoner’s Market or need help linking your account to a Kabam ID, check out this post here! If you've ever needed to log in to MCOC on a new phone, you already have your Kabam ID! Use the same email and password you would use to log into the game for the Summoner's Market!

If you purchase the total limit of any of the Unit packages, you will be given access to the Unit package for the Progression level below you.

“But what about the Unit deals?!” Don’t worry, we’ve got those too, and this year, we’re giving Cavalier Summoners access to the Thronebreaker offers and all Proven and Conqueror Summoners access to the Uncollected offers. We hope this will help you conquer the hurdles ahead and accelerate your progress!

The Unit Offers this year are designed to let you customize your deals to your needs. When you log in after the sale starts, you’ll be given the option to buy one of 3 Packages. 1A, 1B, 1C. After purchasing one of those, you’ll be given access to 2A, 2B, 2C; once you’ve purchased one of those, you’ll get the final choice of 3A, 3B, or 3C. Purchasing any of those will give you access to Package 4. This one is a single option.

For those with plenty of units to spare, you’ll be able to go through this series of choices a second time after you have purchased Package 4! That means that you can choose 2 different sets of packages or can double up packages that suited your needs.

Packages in Tier 1 will be available for one week, but after purchasing one of them, you’ll only have 48 hours to purchase each tier afterwards.

No sneak peeks, but keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter for previews when the sale goes live, or check the sales out in-game when they go live!

For those with plenty of units to spare, you’ll be able to go through this series of choices twice!

This is different from cyber monday offers where we were able to buy package 4 multiple times right away. Is this going to repeat for those again this year, or is this system just applicable to july 4th offers?

Cyber weekend has had the store mode for unit deals while 4th of July uses a ladder mode for unit deals.
I'm aware. Was just curious because this is the first time we have a "reset" system, which altough it's an upgrade for these offers, is a downgrade when compared with the cyber monday offers.

Is package 4 available once or multiple times? Not sure if it’s saying after you purchase it, you can only choose packages you haven’t yet selected or go through the entire process again.

By one extra In the summoner market, does that mean you have to use the in-game store and can only supplement with one additional buy from the summoner market, or can you solely use the summoner market and still get one more than you could in-game.

So is it, we can buy 4 ingame and then an additional on in the market store or we can buy up to 5 if we only buy in the market store? Also, will the additional items be the same ingame as the market store?

    Drive-by FAQ
@MrSakuragi - Is package 4 available once or multiple times?
Package 4 is available once, initially. After purchasing package four for the first time, you will be able to start the series a second time, which would allow you to purchase it a second time if you cleared the entire series. For example: You can purchase 1a, 2b, 3c, 4 once each and then start from the top.

@_Pez_ & @Fox13 4 in game and one additional in the webstore? Or up to five in the webstore?
You can make the regular four purchases for each package, in-game. Only one set of purchases with bonus units will be available in the webstore, totaling five.

It says in the original post package 4 is a single purchase option

Single option meaning that you don't have to choose between 3x different types of packages 4

"If you purchase the total limit of any of the Unit packages, you will be given access to the Unit package for the Progression level below you."

Does this mean if you clear out the unit store as a paragon, the deals come back but for the thronebreaker level? And you can buy those as well? Or did misunderstand this part, lol

But you dont need to clear out all the store, you can buy all paragon odins, and then the thronebreaker odins will show, depend wich packages you buy entirely

Correct me if im wrong but just to be clear regarding unit offers, each unit package can be bought 4 times in game in unit store. Then you're given access to 4x each unit package at lower prog level. There's also 1x each unit package on market store. Unit deals, not to be confused with unit packages, can also be bought 4 times, before reappearing to allow to be bought 4 more times. First 3 unit deals give you one of 3 packages. Unit deals are also known as unit bundles, which have packages, but aren't unit packages.

Your logic makes absolutely no sense. This is an upgrade to the July 4th deals why are you talking about cyber Monday like it's applicable to this situation at all

So I finally made the push to get thronebreaker before the 4th and you’re telling me I could’ve just stayed cav? Will thronebreakers get paragon deals? If not that’s bs

They combined cavs with TBs so less time could be spent making 4+ different tiers of offers, and more time can be dedicated to wherever else it is needed.

That's disappointing to hear, for a lot of outside US players the online store actually offers a fair exchange /fee rate compared to the in-game one and would be more tempting to use, not fussed about the bonus units the online store offers particularly. This reduces temptation to take part at least I guess.

Makes no sense cause they’ve done that in the past why change it now they used to have a package for every progression level. They’ve done over 4 tiers for offers before

Paragon and thronebreaker should be getting the same offers if they made cav get thronebreaker offers
