Why would I spend 300 units for T2A when I can buy it for 60 glory, please don't tell me the gold and iso added justify the 300 units cuz it doesn't. You want people too feel good about getting 6* shards and resources while you already have plenty of valiants with r3 7*. And no, I'm not complaining, I don't like complaining especially knowing there is a free to play node around, just stating the obvious objectively.

What is the side effect of opening a lot of paragons? Items like ISO which can be converted to gold and used for leveling up.
Likewise, the side effect of opening GBCs are the milestones and other rewards you get from GBCs.

Why would I purchase multiple GBCs with a ridiculous rng and spend hundreds when I can buy the all year round offers for $20.00 like the one that's running right now and it gives you 1 + 1/2 t3a, 1+1/2 t6bc, t5cc and 2x t5bc. I don't think you have any clue what's that about. I can't wait to see the drop rates for t4ac, it's gonna be 1% so you basically are spending sh*t ton of units for the items I listed above. Hint: you don't have to drop a hondo for em. It sure is banquet event but not for the players.
@Taintman Exactly! Buying $20 for the offer today is better than buying $100 worth of these GBC. The same could be said for paragon crystals. If you told me that there would be offers for $100 to buy the champion I want, or buy $100 worth of Paragon crystals for a *chance at the champion I want... No brainer.

Hey guys, I see lots of feedback, and have been thinking about what to respond with. Honestly, I don't know if there is anything to respond with, and I don't think there's anything I can say that will change opinions here.
This event is something people look forward to, and it's something that we strive to deliver on. This year, we made improvements in every way possible, so your direct feedback with actual actionable items would be appreciated to help me understand.
We reduced the number of points available for opening each Greater Gifting Crystal, but also reduced the points needed to hit that same milestone last year. Last year, there was 15 Solo Event milestones, with the top reward being a 5-Star Relic at 100,000 points. Buy and opening 25 crystals got you that Milestone. This year, the 15th Milestone is at 75,600 points and is a 6-Star Abyss Nexus Crystal. To get there, you would need to buy and open 28 GBCs. Yes, that is 3 more than before, but it's also arguably a better reward than the Relic Crystal.
There are also 5 additional Milestones available, and while I get that people are looking at last year's as "I got everything for 25 Crystals", that's not really a fair way to look at this. We extended the runway, added more Milestones for those that want to complete it, and took nothing away from those who don't want to go any further than what they did last time.
The Alliance event also has one additional Milestone, but to hit the 15th Milestone, it requires fewer crystals from across the whole Alliance than it did to hit the 15th (and final) Milestone of last year. We added one more Milestone this year for those that want to go for it. I think people are looking at those rewards tables as 100% vs 100%, not as the number of milestones, which is how they really should be looked at.
Additionally, these Crystals have better rewards than the last year's crystals.
Of course, we can't compare last year's event to this one directly; there's been a lot of changes in the Game, with the addition of 7 Stars, Ascension, and higher ranks, but that doesn't mean that we are going to go crazy with all of those materials. There are a lot of comments on wanting more 7-Star Shards or Rank 3 Materials (we were explicit with where you can expect to get the first available R3 7-Stars), and while I understand where you're coming from, nobody wants to live in a world where we burn through 7-Stars in a year and need to introduce 8-Stars in 2024. There will always be taps that are opened slowly, otherwise we end up burning through content and that's not good for the game.
I appreciate all of your feedback, but if you have something a bit more actionable or precise as to why you're upset, I would love to take that to the team for future consideration. I want to understand, so we can improve for the future.
Hey Miike, one of the gripes people bring up is the same milestones as last year. For example, in the alliance milestones, we get 1/4 of a T6B and T3A which is the same as last years. Why wasn’t that bumped up to a whole one or at least 2?
I have no issues with the milestones or change in amount of crystals to obtain the top milestones. I believe the issue is around the rewards within the crystals.
Although the rewards have improved, they haven't moved at the same pace as the chase rewards. This year I think the 7 star shards are very low, both basic and titan. Agree that we shouldn't speed up progression too much hence I'm with you on limiting the 7r3 materials (even though mega whales will get them as long as they are available).
For instance… if you spend enough to get to the 1% tier, you will be able to
- take 1 6 star to rank 5 - You only are halfway to the necessary class cats for a rank 2 7 star - you get 1/3 of a 7 star - You get 1/20 of Titan crystal - 2 T6 basic and 2T3 alpha a total that doesn’t even rank a 6 star to R4
Also with ANOTHER 6 star awakening gem. More nexus 6 stars.
I don’t know how many units it takes to get to that bundle… but spot 2,601 isn’t just completing the milestones. That’s a ton of units for not a lot of stuff.
With the crystals give you a small chance at 1,500 7 star shards and 600 titan shards as premium items… even the RNG luck being on your side isn’t going to get you multiple of these crystals.
I am not interested in a 6 star chase event. That’s what this feels like. I am not asking for R3 stuff. I did expect more in ways ranking R5 6 stars or r2 7 stars. I also expected 7 star acquisition to be there with making a dent in approaching my second titan crystal. This event doesn’t do that.
Personally, I look forward to this event and I participate with my units at the beginning of the event then I continue to the farm and I open my badges and I take the last crystals. If you do not want this event I advise you to keep your units for the necropolis at 100% or for other events where you can choose your rewards such as July 4 or end offer act 8-4;)

I think the biggest problem most people have is how similar the first 8 milestones are to each and how even the next 4 or so are almost identical. It’s actually going to take more units to get the LONE t6b and t3a this year over last year. How did the amount or t6b and t3a not change over a year that introduced 7*’s and require more of those materials to rank them? This is a comparison of milestones from last year to this that was posted in another thread.

If you reduce the points for opening a GBC and keep the price at the same 300 unit level than it is shady and stupid in my opinion. I don't care about a 6 star abyss nexus or a 5 star relic. You guys are just really not that smart huh. Lower the points, ask for more units, change the economy drastically in a year and still have the courage to say it is better than last year. I disagree on this one. Points don't exist in a vacuum, they are in relation to the milestones. We didn't need to change the number of points, and probably in retrospect shouldn't have, but the new additional milestones would have been higher to compensate for that. We don't tune these on the number of points you get, we tune them on the number of Crystals that you need to open. The number of points is not relevant.
Players are thirsty for 7* r2 and ultimately r3 mats however kabam is serving us with 6*r4 mats. 6* are now ISO to me. Relics are a combo extension. But this need is kabams misfortune for over-tuning July 4th deals. 7* were being given out everywhere.
I hardly spent on Black Friday. I won’t spend on holiday event. I don’t need to spend $200 to get ISO. You’re not in touch with the paragon players accounts and needs. Do better.
