  • 7* Nexus crystals don't exist? Can you explain this then?
  • Clearing challenging content is satisfying, as long as the challenge feels fair and isn't unnecessarily punishing. Nodes that are designed just to make you fail (unavoidable damage, especially when its based off of the inflated attacker PIs). Nodes that punish you for not having the perfect counter really aren't fair since…
  • My most depressing RNG fail was when I needed 1 T4 science cat and had 100 of the t4CC crystals hoarded. Opened all 100 and not a single science cat dropped.

  • The idea of paying for quality of life improvements such as inventory space and slightly more gold doesn't appeal to me. Entitled gamer that I am, I kind of expect stuff like that for free as a way to show you value the community and want to retain players. The monthly perks have a little appeal until I see they're tiered.…
  • True, but it’s hard not to see how fast stuff that benefits players gets fixed and punished once discovered and compare that to how slow they seem to be addressing this. While I am not one to demand comp over every little issue or down time, considering how long this problem has been going on, some comp to make up for the…
  • He’s one of the better champs of the ones they listed. To be honest, the only thing “wrong” with him is that he’s overshadowed by the god and Demi god champs... a victim of power creep. As long as they don’t break what makes him fun to use, I wouldn’t object to seeing them make him even better.
  • Clearly, the champ most in need of a rework is Howard the Duck. I am clearly not biased at all by the fact he is the only one of the listed champs I have as a 5*. He’s fun to use, but his skill set is too unfocused to hold reliable utility and his damage is too meh to make him a reliable dps champ. Also, his sound effects…
  • Unless you have a 5* you use a lot and would benefit greatly from having max rank, it would be better to use those resources on your 6* champs. Kabam has set the precedent of gating by rarity and the introduction of cavalier crystals makes it fairly clear they intend to make champs easier to get while keeping rank up…
  • Domino, Sabertooth, and Massacre. The 3* versions are fun enough to use in arena, but to be relevant in the more challenging content, I’d need at least 4*, preferably 5* versions. I’m also very lacking in mutant class champs. Not a single mutant champ (of 4* or better rarity) has dropped for me in over a year.
  • When I've read Kabam's defense of the ban, what pops into my mind is that gating by team PI would achieve those stated goals better than gating by rarity. Using a team PI gate also feels more fair since it allows the player to decide how to meet that requirement.
  • @Lodock , I've had pretty bad 5* luck also. I'd think it fairly safe to assume that Act 6 is not intended to be beaten with a roster of 4* champs, however restricting based on rarity is not only arbitrary, but also illogical. If the goal is to ensure a mature roster, they should set a team PI. It would still be pretty…
  • My biggest issue with disallowing 4* is how arbitrary it feels. If the goal is to ensure a "mature roster" I'd recommend using PI requirements. After all, all that it takes to field a team of 5* is to have 5 of them. Does that really show I have a mature roster? 5* all the way up to rank 3 are roughly on par with my 4*s PI…
  • Thanks. I found an alliance. Will keep you in mind if it doesn't work out.
  • Getting uncollected is hard. I’m still working on it, but I’m too stubborn to spend money on it. Figure hitting arena and quests is more beneficial since I’m getting practice fighting while I farm for units and potions.
  • To be fair to Kabam, whenever you update a program, there is a chance of unintended outcomes. As they add new mechanics, they don’t always react with existing masteries in the expected way. I’ve seen similar issues pop up in other games as well. Whether it’s shady or not comes down to how they handle it now that the issue…
  • Just my two cents worth: When parry was changed, we were refunded our resources, given a free trial period, and given the option to invest in parry again or spend it elsewhere. I’d say, if you change these masteries, even if it’s only the description, you should take the same approach (refund resources, give free trial,…
  • That is true. Most of the time, I can bait the specials and rack up some sweet points for the win. Sometimes, for whatever reason, an opponent just will not use that special at all, and then I get one shot by the L3.
  • True. Trying to say refusing to use items is in some way cheating would be quite hard to defend, especially since items are generally not something you can reliably farm and the cost for revives/heals is fairly high. I know my alliance generally won't waste items when its a lost cause. We'll stockpile the items for when…
  • I hate fighting them. I think the biggest issue I have is just device lag though. I swipe back to evade and champ just stands there like an idiot getting hit.
  • Its not so much that he's overpowered; its more that the combination of his abilities and the node effects make him a very difficult opponent. I suspect this is working as intended; some of these nodes feel like they were designed specifically to sell certain champs. Its also probably to create situations where the trinity…
  • The two don't really compare. Electricity and internet are essentially utilities and our choice of service providers is very limited. Where I live, there is only one internet service provider and only one power company, so no matter how bad the service is or how poorly they treat customers, I'm stuck with them. Electricity…

  • Such abuses of game systems are fairly common in just about any game where the player has any way to impact the matching. Its hard to combat since, aside from the most blatant of actions, you can't really tell when an alliance it trying to lose or when they're just having an off day. Generally, rather than try to play…
  • True enough. Even when its not Kabam's fault, it costs comparatively little to give away some pixels for good will, especially since unplanned downtimes cause loss of rewards, loss of items, and inconvenience. I wonder if the service provider that let Kabam down has to compensate them for downtimes? I'd assume disruption…

  • Loki isn't a horrible champ; he's just not as good as the other champs available. His SP1 is useful and can be kind of fun, especially when fighting against a champ who spams buffs. If you have better champs available, Loki probably isn't worth ranking up.
  • If you're able to 100% Heroic difficulty on event quest, that helps you earn some t4. Completing Act 4 of the story mode also nets you a good amount of t4 if your current questing team can handle it. If your alliance does AQ, you earn glory points that you can use to obtain t4 from the glory shop. Depending on what AQ map…
  • First couple times Domino broke my block, I thought that was what was happening. I started recording my fights with Domino to see if that was the cause or if she was actually breaking my block (Its usually much easier to identify what is really going on when watching a fight than when actually in the fight). When I…
  • For me, its Black Widow, Falcon, and Hawkeye. I have never gotten any of them in any quality better than 2* from any crystal.
  • Finally fixed the issue and got the 5* crystal. Had to uninstall and reinstall the game for it to show up. On the positive side, was worth all that hassle, got Blade =)
  • Finally found it. It looks kind of weird if you haven't seen how they do it. Hope this screenshot helps
  • Same thing happened to me; I already submitted a ticket.
