  • It is wild that this thread is still going without some version of Kabam response. I've seen Jax edited someone's post, which means they are definitely watching it...so why no word? Not even a 'we will open discussions with the community' or something?
  • I stand by what I said. When the attack bonuses are gone (which let's face it, some fights are going to be that bad) that is in fact the strategy...
  • Er....have you been in t1 wars lately? That's actually just the strat on some fights...
  • As a fellow T1 player, I can say usually this wasn't really the case around here. You also suspiciously left out Sasquatch in terms of sig problems, as his regen means lower ranked champions simply cannot beat him no matter what they do, and even the proper ones struggle a bit due to the node he's on. Obviously Red Skull…
  • I think you might wanna read the rest of the comments. You are in the minority here.
  • You're only half right, actually. These are all 7r3 sig 200, making them all harder than any war you've ever seen them in. On top of that, Photon being bugged makes her a way, way harder fight than I've ever seen her, and I was the Photon boss killer back in the day. Thankfully S2099 still works, but I couldn't do that…
  • So having done this, here's what I ended up doing... Venom: Hulkling. Completely straightforward fight. Kindred: Photon. Don't parry. Other than that Kindred is powerless to do anything against her. Fanta: Hulkling. Wait for his initial armor to wear off, then hit into block once and the fight is more or less over. Red…
  • You know, I know this is a double post, but a comparison just came to mind. Dark Souls is considered one of the most difficult, yet most fun, video games of all time. It mixes difficulty with strategy in a way that is both challenging and extremely entertaining, not to mention exhilarating when you defeat the bosses. This…
  • Hey, Kabam. Been playing eight long years, spent way more than I probably should have. You're making me want to quit outright. AQ? Boring, but passable and entertaining. BGs? Not a fan, but some people are. You actually made the meta too easy this round and it's just an endless nuke fest. War?... I loved war. I used to be…
  • Any meta where a random nondescript champ becomes god and tempts me to rank him (in this season, Werewolf By Night) is pretty cool. Plus the fights aren't difficult-it's just a race against your opponent, which is what it SHOULD be. Not a race to see if you can even do damage.
  • It said 'shared among bosses' so I am wholly unoptimistic. If it's *every* miniboss, that means once unlimited items are lifted, we are required to burn at minimum 9 revives just to GET to the final boss. I'm sorry, that's unacceptable.

  • So uh...did anyone notice the paywall mechanic in raids? 'Bosses can only lose 10% of their max HP per fight' then they kill you ...they seriously put an item paywall mechanic into these? Why?

  • No, the problem is if you go in with less than 50% health you are guaranteed going to die and there's nothing you can do about it if you don't have regeneration, which means if your counter is dead you have to offload additional units to bring them up to health on top of just reviving them, which is cheap.
  • Yeah, I'd love to bring my CapWW2 to AW. Crying shame if I do I'm throwing my alliance's chances of winning away. Extremely poor design, as I pointed out in a post of my own. Only 2-3 champs are viable at ALL in AW, and that's only if the lane and opponents line up.
  • That's Going It Alone. Try Team Player. There's an event for both sides.
  • My AQ path has Diss Track twice. That already pares down the usable champs to Voodoo (who I don't have as a 6*), Magneto (when only 2 of the opponents on both lanes total are Metal) and Nebula (who struggles heavily with top-level modifiers). Then you toss in that I have the Conflictor/Buffet shared fights, and that tosses…
  • Just broke 50k myself a few hours ago...I'm tired, boss...
  • Doom toots as he pleases!
  • I love reviving dead chats for no reason But with the advent of Nimrod and IDoom, Kitty and Apoc both are tough sells I kinda vote Bishop these days as one of the best all-rounders. Still an absolute ass on defense, and a shredder on attack. What Bishop truly has over Kitty and Apoc is he's probably the best in…

  • As someone who has a sig 200 r4 QS and S2099, S2099 love will never diminish or die. He's just too good.
  • Cold take, none of them.
  • So here's where I think the ultimate Mole Man vs. Dragon Man distinction comes into play here. For a long time, it wasn't even certain that Mole Man's interaction WAS a bug. His description of the ability was ambiguous, and could easily be misinterpreted as part of his normal kit. It was only when Kabam decided that, no,…
  • What are the odds of this becoming the new forum meme?
  • What are the odds DNA recognizes me from wayyyyyyyyyyy back and says hi to his old pal Moves?
  • Spider-Ham aficionado here. Ham is easier to use and has a slightly better damage loop (especially since power stings are rare)
  • Who are the fights there? What's the node?

  • Omega Sentinel cheese for Robot, X-23 cheese for Thunderbolt/DOT. Pretty braindead, just very, very long. Can't wait to gauntlet through this nonsense.
  • Maybe dupe something first, honestly...
  • He'd probably be in the CFL, just saying...
  • Baron Zemo and Absorbing Man come to mind as options, based on the comics.
