Wondering if Battlegrounds is dying and people aren’t playing this mode as much anymore?

GC still not full? I’ve been waiting on matchmaking in GC for well over 10 minutes and it still can’t find me a match?

The mode and the game overall is already too much of a grind?! I don’t have enough time for the mode and the game as it is with real life at the best of times. Definitely don’t have enough time if I have to start adding at least 10-15 minutes waiting for a match each time in order to get objectives to try to keep up with points for Summoner’s Fest milestones?! Let alone the time to then complete the match and everything else in the game?!

The waiting is a joke? Can’t do anything else in the meantime in the game whilst waiting so may as well not play the game if I’m just staring at a waiting screen the whole time?

I don’t get the hypercritical judgment lately. They're testing new ways to mix things up. This is a mobile game, one that's lasted longer than many others. There will always be limitations on a game with basic touch mechanics. However, trying new ways to add layers to it isn't a bad thing. It's a good thing. Would people prefer things stay the same and grow stale?

As always, it’s just a matter of degree. How different can they make new modes from the core game and still keep or grow engagement — that seems to be the boundary that Kabam wants to explore.

For me, the autobattler stuff is too much of a stretch and a move away from the reasons I like MCOC and have played it for a decade.

It’s like if you built a community around a game with the depth and complexity of chess, then you introduce something that is akin to candyland. And then the justification is “don’t you get it? This new mode is inspired by candyland.” (Or whatever the turn based games that I don’t play are called.)
