Re: Spider-woman balance update
cancelled sigil. Unit card done. Monthly splurge never again. I’m sure I’ll feel good about it in the long run. Time to find new avenues of entertainment. I’ll have an extra vacation a year instead. I find it amazing that the game team have not been fired. If I performed this badly at work I’m pretty sure I’d be relieved of my duties.
Re: Spider-woman balance update
They purely want to nerf her for offense, but they are hiding behindthe guise it's for defense. There are several defenders that are harder than her. I think this may be the thing that makes me completely step away from this game especially since I took her to R3 recently.
Re: Spider-woman balance update
Karolina’s glancing buff is so busted I think even if they released 7* CGR and Hulkling tomorrow they still wouldn’t be the two second best cosmics in the game anymore. Definitely not a 3 on utility and a 3.5 on survivability, any attacker than can take Yelena Serpent Bullseye and Photon in respectable time with full hp aside from nuking the obvious ones like Zola Red Skull and Sentinel is a 5/5 on both and that’s a hill I will die on so if Spider Woman is getting nerfed over something so insignificant then so is Karolina
Re: Spider-woman balance update
if the defensive kit was really the problem they’d take away the fumble… the debuff that only impacts an attacking player by taking away our masteries. The announcement is straight gaslighting
Re: Revenue declined
Honestly, it's about value for the dollar spent and paid to Kabam.
Lately we have been given really bad decisions and choices that do not align with majority their current and long time player base.
Kabam is chasing "new" players while they are chasing off their long-term existing players.
It's not hard to see how this is happening and instead of doing ANYTHING that is PRO-PLAYER, they keep trying new things that majority don't care for or want to deal with.
Majority want the game to work the way it should, be stable, offer some challenges along with casual options and then Kabam would see a bigger income increase.
You heard the phrase "Happy wife equals happy life."? Well, it can be said that "Happy players stay to become payers!" how is that so hard to grasp?
Look at the game Destiny on all their platforms as a direct example how when you start pissing off player base, you lose money and those players. Kabam is allowing history from within the industry to repeat itself.

Re: Where are the Forum Managers?
@KabamPinwheel legit question. Not a criticism, not a comment, just a hopefully easy question.
We've got you, Dork and Mike as the community team. Three guys where we used to really have mainly two. At this point, we understand clearly that Dave's job description doesn't involve much, if any, time interacting with the community. Got it. So that now leaves you and Mike. Perfectly good team to take on the task.
The trend that we have been experiencing since you all started is that when things are going bad, you all seem to disappear. And we can even go, often, and look at when you each last logged on and see that it's not a matter of not commenting, but also a matter of just not being here. And yes, there is more than just the forums to manage. So the question is, particularly when things go bad, where do you guys go? Why does trouble more often than not pull you guys away from the community rather than towards it?
Yes, you're gathering feedback, but sometimes none of you are here until hours later. Raids launch bugged and we get radio silence. New EQ days comes around, usually bugged, and you guys don't login to the forums almost at all.
The discord is well staffed with mods, but the guardians that once helped staff the forums have pretty much disappeared or have even abandoned the forums, saying they don't like to be here. So as a result, particularly in the more significant moments, no one is here. Why? What pulls the community team away from this part of the community? And that's not to say you guys are never here, because you are here a decent amount, and yes, you are more difficult to find, but it just feels like you guys why away when things are tough. Some insight into that would be helpful for all of us.
Re: Where are the Forum Managers?
Forums would go away if Kabam had their way is my guess. They don't want the feedback here as they rarely have listened to the feedback for years.
Yes, sometimes a few will comment, but it's become more sparse.
If you think Discord is better, no. It's an echo chamber that typically does not listen or address anything. They simply post Announcements there that people find out about and come to forums to protest how absurd the changes continue to be.
Kabam only seems to want money and how they can squeeze it out of the most players.
Unfortunately, they seem to forget this is a GAME made for ENTERTAINMENT and escape of the real world. It's way more a chore and not convenient to many casual players now.
I also don't like when they always act like they are doing these badly taken (by the vast majority of the MCOC Community and Player Base) changes are for our own good or the good of the future of the game… It's gaslighting. There won't be a future after all the mess of 2025 Kabam and more specifically September 2025… And it's not over yet.
You can be profitable and make money without pissing off your player base. You can make MORE money when you are PRO-PLAYER but Kabam seems to refuse to grasp this fact.
I hope that Kabam Leadership makes things right but I won't hold my breath. 100% if this change sticks with Spider-Woman, I'm done come January 2026; I have had enough of what can only be described as a Toxic Relationship now.
Spider-Woman nerf (yes it's a NERF offensively though the communication tried to claim the opposite) is not the sole reason people are upset, but it's another straw that broke the camel's back after all the problems, issues and bad decision making from this company.

Re: Just end the rebalance program already.
The point is they're afraid of making another Hercules or buff another Magneto. They're afraid of their own inability to understand the game they make and how different interactions take place in different scenarios in the game. It is especially dangerous now as they only make champs to answer specific champs. They don't do their own research and take in the full scope of a new champs impact on the game, hence the current and avoidable issue of Dazzler and Solvarch.
Re: Where are the Forum Managers?
Combination of a couple things going on here. First thing i the changes to the forums that got pushed out from our forum provider have made us less visible in threads and on the category pages (though Ive been working with them on a fix for this so hopefully will see the return of the colorful icons and orange text soon).
The other thing though is things have been incredibly busy, on top of the normal busy-ness this time of year already brings. Rex especially has still been present in all kinds of threads, but because of the previously stated issue thats harder to spot.
