To tell you that you're wrong in what you're thinking. It's a competition, a concept you clearly don't understand. The higher you climb, the harder the competition is. Why should you get to face lesser competition than the bigger accounts for the same rewards?

Eh it’s not that bad . Sure sometimes I lose like five matches in a row against crazy account but then I get a couple of easy ones . If can be a bit annoying but I regularly make it GC.

no im talking about IN gc lol, i barely was able to get 115 points because i had to keep playing dudes like this who just ban the only rank 4s i have while they have like 13. some how i still win but its just insufferable to play against over and over.

I won't make any comments on the game mode itself because I am a little biased since this particular style of game is the type I used to play on my phones when I was growing up, but I will agree the rewards are insane for the amount of effort required and I'm surprised your post has so many disagrees lol.

We're getting: 3.6M gold, 825 units, one Titan, two 7*s and a couple Doombots for what 5-10 bucks give or take? If this turns into a monthly thing then I really don't get how people could be complaining this much considering how easy the game mode is.

Nobody is justifying anything, you can dislike the game mode but those rewards are insane for the effort required. How many game modes give you a full Titan and two 7* in a single monthly cycle? None not even BGs.

When did “effort” become the main barometer? It’s a time wasting endeavor whose sole purpose is to make you waste phone battery and MCOC time allotment. Why not just have the phone display “Kabam is the Best gaming company ever!” In neon flashing colors for 15 -20 minutes a day…. And get great rewards! We would have forum posts about how everyone should just quit complaining because “look at those sweet rewards!”

What do you mean since when? Were you not here for Necropolis Epoch Ordeal etc?Rewards have always been insane depending on the effort the quest or mode required you to put in. Why are you acting like this is an entirely new concept when that's how the game has always been. Crazy rewards (until recently) always required a good amount of effort compared to the boring walk in the park this new game mode is.
And again, you can dislike the game mode all you want that's not what I'm arguing here, the argument here is the rewards are insane for the effort required and that is a fact. I don't care if you like the game mode or not that's your opinion, doesn't change the fact the rewards are crazy for such low effort and personally I'm more than happy to autoplay the whole thing for them even if it gets boring and repetitive lol.

Necropolis and Epoch were at least part of the actual game. This new 2D mode is a low-effort side hustle slapped on to sell skips. It’s not rewarding gameplay, it’s monetizing boredom.

and you playing it for rewards doesn’t prove it’s fine, it proves they’ve figured out how little they have to try to get your money because people have been paying for the tickets to finish it faster and then claim “easiest titan ever”, yea, you’re not gaming the system — you’re the system working exactly as intended.

keep rewarding trash and don’t be surprised when that’s all you get.

Couple of thoughts on this general topic.

I feel like an absolute idiot for “playing” this mode. I don’t know a damn thing about whatever game archetype this is based upon, but if this is moronic. However. I’ll do it for the rewards. Kabam, please put an asterisk to signify that this was done under duress when you count me in the “completed the content” column.

Also, there’s nothing more priceless than longtime self-declared arena junkies complaining that this mode is mindless or that it takes too much time. Great stuff.

I figured the arena folks like me would be bashed incorrectly- arena efficiency requires having at least a respectable roster…. Developed high end champs and 4 stars. You do that by completing content and managing your resources. Whether you think the grind is boring or not doesn’t change the fact that what you do in the game makes your arena time less… and I can choose to knock it out in the window of my choosing. I am not bound to do the same thing everyday or else.

This mode? Nothing relates to anything to your roster… you are time bound and entry bound. And you aren’t even playing the game. You can’t auto fight arena. In this instance, low eq auto fight is a better comparison. Arena grinding isn’t.

Yes, yes, the deep strategy of sourcing 10% boosts to shave three and a half minutes off your weekly grind in the four star event. Come on man, it’s arena. If you enjoy it, cool. But let’s not act like it’s any more challenging than whatever this auto fight thing is.

Go run featured arena with 6 star rank 4’s as your best rank these days. Let me know how it goes.

To run arena efficiently, you have to have done other parts of the game to farm it. No one is arguing it’s necropolis, but its success is dependent on playing the game otherwise,

here’s the thing, you’re confusing competition with an absurdly high paywall. its not about climbing harder, it's about access being sold. no matter how much someone grinds, they can't compete with wallets, not skill. that’s not “fair” competition, it's monetized gatekeeping.

people who pay should get perks, sure, but not to the point where no amount of effort can ever catch up. that’s not competition, that’s just selling power. there’s a line between rewarding support and making it nearly pointless to even try without paying. this game crossed it.
