The largest issue I see here is there are F2P valiants who have been at that progression for over year. They have 6-8 R4 and 25-30 R3s.

Let’s assume a player such as that had a prestige of 33-34K and just got bumped down to 25K - 29LK.

This qualifies them for tier 4 to 7 out of 15.

If tier 4 of 15 rewards aren’t as good or better than the last 3 months of Valiant EQ, then these F2P Valiants take a big L from Kabam. For that matter if some Valiants barely qualify for tier 1 of 15 and have been doing the Valiant EQ each month and tier 1 rewards aren’t as good as the valiant EQ then they also take a big L.

I drop from 34.8k to 27k

After watching rich latest video that I only will qualify in Rank 4 or 5 of Monthly eq out of 15 Ranks making me feel sad and think how greedy can kabam be

Players who have 35k prestige before now gonna struggle again to build up their prestige in order to gain higher ranks of monthly eq

This prestige update is evil and sucks

Tommorow most of players gonna rage here after looking at monthly eq rewards and the low ranks in quests they can only enter due to their prestige nerf

Chasing prestige to get max rewards does not sound fun. If you want me to chase a champ make them awesome.

So why is it still on the Trello board and nothing has been mentioned about the fix !?

His playstyle sucks, his buff sucks, he barely does any damage with all those furies and they fall off way too quickly, he is similar to Adam Warlock in terms of ramp where you need to constantly attack so you don't lose tempo, but it's somehow worse with rhino where you need to also constantly dash back. both of these champs suffer from really really bad AI problems but Adam Warlock AT LEAST DOES A LOT OF DAMAGE.

Kabam literally could've forestalled 99% of the community outrage over this change by just implementing a new prestige formula that kept everything relatively the same but increased everyone's raw rating. So like 20k was 200k now, 30k was 300k, etc.

People don't like seeing their hard-earned score drop, pure and simple.

Just another sign that nobody at Kabam seems to understand or care about how emotionally unhinged their playerbase is.

That last part is copium every mobile game player tell themselves. Its a myth.

I don't have any version of him ranked up and I don't really feel like ranking any version of him up to test him out, but I'll say this: I don't think he needs a complete re-do, but I do hope he goes through the rebalancing programme. Damage aside, I have no problem with his kit as such. I'm fine with him being a "lighter" champ, in terms of kit. I think the game can benefit from that sometimes. He reminds me a bit about Hulk in that regard. His buff was basically just "Hulk smash" + insane stuns, and that worked out great. He's not top of the meta, but perfectly viable nonetheless.

But Hulk has the damage to back up the lightness of his remaining kit, and I find it super weird that Kabam releases a buff that isn't available (even for the CCP, it would seem) as a 7*. That makes it impossible for people to properly gauge him. Now, obviously not every buff is going to be given away as a 7* to everyone the way Modok and the Rebirth buffs were, but if you don't give anyone access to a version that's equivalent to who we're playing with at the moment, then of course people are going to think he sucks. I'm not saying that he'll be a god when he arrives as a 7* and we can take him to r4, sig him up to 200 and give him a proper relic, but his damage will at least be better than the mid-ranked 6*s that I see even content creators testing out right now.

We technically have the same problem with Yondu since he's not a 7* either at the moment, but at least there we can all see which numbers went up and by how much they went up, and the consensus seems to be that the right numbers went up (or down) by about the right amount.

So Kabam, please release him as a 7* (at least to the CCPers) so that we can actually judge him fairly, and then rebalance him if necessary.
