There is another way of looking at this if you put game balance aside. From a purely financial perspective, The Serpent makes absolute sense. You sell something as a commodity that creates an imbalance, therefore everyone wants it because they don't want to miss out. Then, after a period of exclusivity you sell things that partially address the imbalance you've created.

This works but the downside is that it's not very subtle and runs roughshod over game balance. It's also not something which can be repeated often. It carries risks, which is what we're starting to see manifest now.

For me personally, I'm just fed up of fighting Serpent, Zola and Enchantress. It's gotten boring.

Thats why you should leave them at sig 180 until they leave the titan pool. Saves the disappointment.

Of course, but we're just talking about abilities like Slow that lower Evade AA. Pursuit, Coldsnap, and the other ones you mentioned simply prevent Evade from activating and don't interact with the AA aspect.

People still going on about the other defenders that are "balanced" and didn't get nerfed. Its all product of the BS lie on Spider Woman's nerf. If they had straight up come with a truthful answer and told us that she was being nerfed in offense, we wouldn't be analyzing other defenders and calling out their BS.

You should try to fight a Sauron that you cannot power drain, that Regenerates when you dash back twice (never mentioned Sauron's Regen), that transforms your buffs into power, that performs critical hits through blocks if he's knocked down, that gains armorUp buffs after each special… and… oh, starts the fight with fisticuffs. 97.000 attack and 1 million health points —- in zone 15.

pretty fun. Had to use 2 small revives like at zone 14. Some cleanse/power sting when getting a bar of power combination and I was mentally checked out on waiting for the sting to expire.

I didn’t run into the Sauron nonsense others posted… hopefully that node combo and defender was pulled immediately. If so, everyone should have a good time.
