Crappy metas like this one put a premium on the strategic pause. Perhaps the team should get more creative and make metas that don’t encourage pausing as a rewarding tactic.

The most obvious solution to pausing is having a 10 second timer that resets on each input from both the AI and Player. If the timer runs out that means the game has not recorded any inputs and the player is automatically kicked, given a forfeit, and a 1 minute matchmaking ban that escalates up to a full season ban.Anything that can be done next BG season against pausing?Mr. Crashed - It'll be great if we can have a bit less defenders and a bit more attackers.I'm not a champion designer, so this isn't my call, but I will say I am very happy with where the meta has moved in the last 6 months. Drafts, at least below the very top, are a lot more diverse than they were last year when three champions (Bullseye, Serpent and Enchantress) dominated the meta. I think the champion team has done an excellent job with the additions so far this year.
I would like to play the champs.
Also make Titan great again.(Remove duds such as RULK and Falcon)
Maybe if you add match stats of how many seconds/minutes there was actual fighting, game will know who paused and with this the score will be lower than if he actually fight.
This can be advised on Forums and in game, so this problem will be fixed, because players wont do again.

If you don't have the time to play BGs, don't play. If you have an emergency, you were not going to win anyway. If you keep having emergencies then you shouldn't be playing a ranked mode in the first place.

This is so sick man. Kabam is throwing everything at us except the absolute bottom rank up matterial which is t6b and t3A I'm so sick of it. Glory store gives 25% of it each buy what the f? We VALIENTs are chasing r4 materials and still struggling on these is so bad. But for some reason overflowing to bring with t2a and t5b? For years now...They do this every cycle, the lower tier becomes more scarce. Then we complain and they increase it at the next level when they come extinct. It's pretty gross behavior in my opinion.

Poor game mechanics? Its a perfect fit for a defenders kit... RS has been on that node forever lol...You argument is that it has been around a long time so it should be understood yet here it is not being understood again. Sorry I couldnt find the manual on how to calculate potency for bleeds.Blows my mind the people that defend this, the insane amount of nodes to read to begin with and then to make it this ridiculously ambiguous and you want to sit there behind your computer and pretend like its so easy everyone knows that.Not really, this has been known for a long time, also if the defender has mastery points to improve bleeds you would be affected too. Happens in Hazard shift as well.
Blows my mind that you have this idea that you found a cheese counter for an annoying node since it was introduced. A node with such a few counters and you magically came up with Sinister...
Sounds like there is so few counters because of poor game mechanics design at a minimum for the poor design detail explanations would help yet I’m not see any of that in game…

This game mode is completely random. You can't count cards. Consider it along the lines of a brand new deck every single game.I’d say that’s probably correct for BETWEEN HANDS.
But are we to assume that WITHIN a hand/game, that is your discarded cards can NOT come back in a subsequent draw (unlike BattleGrounds).
*not just getting same card immediately after discarding it (that would be really obvious if it were happening sometimes), but also can’t re-draw a card in 3rd draw that you had discarded for the 1st draw.

But, relatedly, I had thought about OP's question from a casino standpoint.
For any type of Poker (Draw, Texas Hold'em, etc) the deck can NOT (I assume) be made of more than 1 standard deck of 52. Or else you'd see 5 of a kind sometimes.
But can't remember if dealer is actually reshuffling them every hand, or discarding entire deck each hand down a pit, and taking out a previously auto-shuffled one (maybe randomly from among several decks being used and auto-shuffled ?) from under the table (or whatever).
Versus BlackJack or Baccarat, etc. where it is what (4 or 8 ?) decks worth all together in a shoe which is used for many hands before being switched. And where you could indeed pull repeats even bak-2-bak.

There is absolutely nothing in game that explains the calculations like that so how can you blame anyone else other than kabam for the lack of understanding when it isn’t the common practice for percentagesYou don't need kabam to explain the calculation, you yourself can calculate it. and now you know, it not bug, and stop blaming others.
And tell me, why you using mr sinister for red skull? and didn't use tactics champs? it like you bring yourself to slaughter using sinister against red skull

Blame it on inexperience then, you learned that the strategy of bleeding yourself with a node won't work .. you would have detonated to death anyway, since most likely all your sp1s were going to glance

Fair point, I forgot how many bleeds Sinister would get naturally just from making content.Bro sound like you dont have a full understanding either because i wouldnt have needed to parry to build charges every hit adds at least 5 bleeds.
Assuming this is a variation of the node you fought him on, this is your lack of understanding and not a bug. You need to use a bleed immune champ here, not a champ that reduces bleed potency. Sinister is already a terrible choice against Red Skull, but he also only reduces bleed potency by 100%. This node gives additional potency to the bleeds, so you're going to take anything that is above 100%. And good luck parrying to build your bleed, or landing those degens on the SP1 while glancing every hit.
Learn from the mistake, take the L and come back better prepared next war. We all learn something the hard way at some point.
So kabam make up there own imaginary way that math works and everyone is supposed to magically know how it works.

But you still can't blame your lack of game knowledge on it being an imaginary bug. You didn't know how it worked and you found out the hard way. Now you know. Kabam works more in whole numbers than in percentages. If something has 200% potency, then 100% reduction only cuts it in half, even though common sense might tell you that it reduces it completely. The game has always worked like this, so you've clearly never paid attention to it, which again is fine, but again also doesn't make it a bug.
Too many players come in here blame shifting their poor understanding onto Kabam.
