Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
Actually, I starting to feel a bit concerned if we as a community would reach 38billion points.I think the milestone with the modok/patriot selector is the final milestone like all the other realm events the ones after are just extra bonus milestones
With lots of point lock behind end game contents and 3 BG wins isn't guaranteed with these metas
Right I'm at milestone 27, while the Realm is only at milestone 21. Would be pretty rough to reach 285,000 points but the Realm doesn't reach it final milestone.
Re: NIGHTMARE RAID
They don't have time to fix or change anything... They sucked all the fun out of raids.Kabam is shooting themselves in the foot (or maybe just shooting us in the foot?) by throwing new sets of Raids bosses at us in consecutive weeks. Ideally, everything would've been properly play-tested so that these issues would be resolved before they were launched in-game, but that's clearly not the case.
Re: Showcase Mystic / Comic - No Rewards
Mine appeared in my inventory despite not showing up when I finished the quest.for fun? kinda like @Giantwalrus56, you got a vanity rank up, or a key character that’s 6* locked, it REALLY don’t wanna divert resources from 7*. they quests are really for fun, just getting to open up with a few champs in a low stakes environment, and the rewards match that.
Tbh tho I’m not too sure what the point of having a 4-5 Gem in the rewards alongside Tier 7 Basic Fragments.
*** caveat, that’s only depending on where your roster is at. if you really NEED that gem, the quest may not be. cakewalk, but should still be manageable without resource sinking. YMMV
Re: NIGHTMARE RAID
@KabamDORK @KabamPinwheel raid’s been up for over 24 hours with a score of forum posts of people encountering issues. Understand you might not have any news, let alone good news, but you should acknowledge people are having issues.
Ideally, let us know if raids is functioning as designed or whether there is some plan to respond (additional nerfing, bug fixes, compensation, etc)

Re: Is Kate bishop or doctor doom better
Doom is better, it's not even close.lol
Immunities, power control, buff control, amazing damage, stun on command, dual threat.
Kate Bishop is long form fodder and you can't even use her in endgame content so she is irrelevant.
In case anyone newer is reading, please ignore this. Kate is amazing. No idea what this person is on about.

Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
Guy thinks security guards at the mall are there to protect him...lolThe guardians are here to help kabam. Not the players. Dont know where you got that idea fromfor a "forum guardian" who's meant to help the players on the forums you're awfully ironic at times and some of your posts have become just like any random guy poking at people with 0 advancing to the conversation lolIn whatever circles you roam, I believe you. Including the fact you probably shout it out loud while you're typing it.I'm sorry but if there's NO way you can place #1 without having to spend, it's called a PAY TO WIN event. They are unobtainable even if you do pay, unless you also basically do everything. Normally the term pay to win refers to games where either whomever pays the most wins, or spending offers an overwhelming advantage compared to everything else. But that's not really true here, except in an essentially unrealistic extreme. Spending offers an advantage between two players who otherwise are tied in all other respects, but having an advantage between two competitors who otherwise do exactly the same things equally well is not pay to win, that is literally all competitions. There are ranked rewards, which will be unobtainable unless you payI wouldn't call it pay to win. Sure, spending could be a tie breaker for points, but if you don't do everything, especially Raids, no amount of spending is going to catch you up.There are 300,000 total earnable points, so yes you can reach the top milestone, even if you miss a few.Why do you make everything p2w?
Well, technically speaking $24,000 USD might catch you up. But even among the mega whales I suspect the number of people who will actually do that is very close to zero.
Since about a third of the realm points are in Raids, and my alliance doesn't do raids (much less Nightmare Raids which seems to be required to cap out the milestones) I'm basically out of it. But the event is still giving me a ton of rewards for basically just playing the game more or less as I normally do, so I can't be too upset. I find it ... odd that there's so much emphasis on Raids given their presumptive optional nature - and the fact they are tied to alliances, meaning individual players cannot simply choose to do them just for the event - but I suppose Kabam has its reasons there.
I would call that pay to win
I come from the ancient generation of game players that did not just make up new meanings for words to justify their use. Once upon a time, calling this situation "pay to win" would have gotten you laughed off the discussion boards. Of course, that was back when literacy was almost a prerequisite to even get on the internet, since you needed to at least be able to read instructions to do so.
By the way, there is literally no possible avenue by which a Chess player can become the FIDE world champion without spending money. Therefore, Chess is a pay to win competition.
Re: At a loss with the summoner fest event
If you’re going to just make up stuff to reply to, please do me the courtesy of making up someone else as having said them. You're absolutely right, this realm event is grindable and ftp can compete for top rankings because they don't have a set amount of acquirable points to reach. I don't know what I was thinking calling Realm Fest a pay to win event. In whatever circles you roam, I believe you. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can figure out a way to rack up those points without spending. Maybe you can share some of that wisdom so that we can make it happen.
Once upon a time, the idea that Earth had a sphered shape got people laughed off including Pythagoras and Aristotle... little did they know.

Re: Next cycle of RAIDS after RAIDS Month when...?
If they follow the regular cadence, we should essentially have 5 raids in a row. But confirmation on that would be cool.
Re: More Cheaters in BGs?
It would be interesting if you show the stats. The meta on this BG makes it entirely possible for what you show to be legit. I came out of a bunch of fights with 100% health. Surprised the hell out of me!
