The game has 426 active players on steam, Marvel Rivals has 102k and both are free games. Rivals made 130 million dollars it's first month by selling $20 skins. Kabam is selling $500 and $1000 dollar characters yet they makes no where near the same amount of money as Rivals. Do you want to know why Rivals is so successful? It's because there's NO P2W elements. Netease doesn't care if you spend thousands on skins or never buy one skin, they will never restrict any content or mode to it's player base. And guess what IT EVEN HAS A COMPETITIVE MODE where the only way to climb is through skill, mcoc would never do that too many spenders will complain about being stuck in bronze 😜.No. Rivals is popular because its a MOBA. MOBAS are highly popular thanks to league of legends.
Looking beyond money, Rivals gets 10x the views Mcoc does because people want to see the best mechanically skilled player compete against each other, not who spends the most. Console and PC player's aren't brainwashed like mobile players, they don't like P2W mechanics.
Replayability. Mcoc has zero replayability outside of incursions and arena. Once you complete every quest and every challenge, there is nothing to do except wait for the next Everest content or monthly update. It also doesn't help that everything costs energy so you are forced to grind away at arena if you want to refill it.
The only reason why Mcoc has lasted so long is because it has 0 competition. No other mobile fighting game comes close to mcoc in terms of smoothness and gameplay. The game is too old and suffers from an outdated monetization system to ever become big outside of mobile.

I just tried against winter Soldier against the wall and not against the wall. Both medium dash ins worked. Are you maybe dashing before the defender stands up? There are some specials that hit and can have you go in too quick (defender isn't up yet) which causes the medium to miss.You can see that the champ just stops moving. Not that the hit whiffs or phases. It just doesn't happen. That's a bug

The mysterium store sucks but are we just going to ignore how much extra stuff we got for doing this month's SQ?People have a right to be upset about the mysterium store. Just because something somewhere else in the game is good doesn't mean people just shouldn't care about other things that are being kabammed.
The rewards for hitting 10k milestones were pretty bonkers, you'd think people would focus on that and not the mysterium aspect.

Go further cause I dunno what you are ....I think most people including myself losing fun in this game recent months, with restricted meta’s and everest content. that you need specific champs and if you dont have them your screwed i don’t think thats the point to run a mobile game that suppose to be playable for everyone not just spenders with a big roster. Bring me back to 2018/2019 the good old days of this game 🙏🏼

I'm about absolutely done with spending on this game with the recent whale out thrown by Kabam on every single thing. The AI has never been fixed but made harder and harder and faster. It's clear evident Kabam could give 2 **** about the game itself and only wants to milk spenders and likly the game could die the constant overlooking what playerbase wants the recent content like WOF fiasco it's clear they don't care. So I OFFICIALLY DONT CARE AS WELL. HOPE MORE PLAYERS ALIGN
