I was a bit confused on the first quest, as I got to the selector node before 2nd Psycho Man, and threw Knull, Venom, and Scream (for the 2 spideys afterwards) into my team, fought Psycho Man, then immediately had to switch all 3 champs out again despite not using Venom/Scream. Like, what's the point? Do I really need to add 2 synergies to the one champ I'm going to fight with?

Ok, I was just looking at a youtube run and couldn't understand that "design choice," so I guess it's just a trap to get us to use one champ but eliminate two more.

Can anyone tell me if you can use different rareties of the same champ?
Like if I use a 7* Bullseye, can I then also use 6* Bullseye later, or will it not let me?

After I realized the gimmick, I would just take one “real” champ for the mid-map boss and then two random schmucks. If your primary champ gets knocked out, you are going to have to spend a revive on the next section of the map, even if you use a second or third champ to finish off the mid-map boss. So better to just revive the champ you know is best for the boss fight instead of using an alternate champ.

Bad design all around. Seems like the SQ team was given a shot at the big time with monthly EQ.

On mid-map boss swap, you can take two lower rarity champions along with the "real" champ and take them to full health by using L1 or L2 potions.

Rintrah, Spider Man, and Falcon are all worse than red hulk. At least red hulk has crazy damage and poison immunity.

Rintrah is an amazing duel threat. Saying red hulk is better than him is crazy.

Red Hulk:

1. Doesn't rely on debuffs
2. Doesn't rely on crits
3. XL health pool
4. Double Immunities

Rintrah:

1. Crit reliant
2. No immunities
3. Needs Dupe
4. Relies on debuffs

Rintrah doesn't need his dupe. Him having immunities would be helpful, but I never find myself in a situation when using him where I wish he did. He is not crit reliant. Even with no crits he will deal more damage than red hulk. And yeah he does rely on debuffs (rupture which is not a common immunity). Do you know who else relies on debuffs? A million other amazing champs.

Rintrah does rely on crits. If I wanted a mystic that can stall and keep up on attack I'm picking my dawg Sasquatch. Same HP, Faster Ramp, and he has two chances to crit on his sp2.

I have a 7 star rintrah and a rank 4 ascended six star. Trust me buddy, I would rather pull red hulk than rintrah when I can just use Sasquatch who does everything better.

Unless you desperately need a hazard shift poison incinerate champ, Rintrah is way better

I got mine through Incursions originally as well. I also carried 2 of my friends in Incursions and got them their badges too. It was incredibly easy and not impressive at all.

Who said I'm jealous of anyone's phone? I only mentioned it because it was crucial to have a high-end device to cut down on load times during those speedruns. Doesn't mean it was an impressive feat either, and I would know because I did that legend run too.

Good thing mcoc isn't a fighting game. It's a card collecting game that happens to have fighting game mechanics. What is the new mode? A card game with fighting game mechanics!!!!!!!!

People play fighting games for real time pvp and complex combos, Mcoc has none of this.

Even if you don't like the mode there is no excuse for why you would want to go back to traditional side quests that gave horrible rewards and were time gated.

Some prefer SQ that is over for the week after 5 minutes and doesn’t require tons of energy spend .

that is exactly the problem i see with this mode…
the energy requiremend is so unproportional unless you hit the jackpot several times in a row which is nearly impossible

I find it perfect for me. I'm always sitting on Energy Refills, and I enjoy it. I'm not playing straight-out, mind you. I hop on, do some hands for a bit, and log off. Maybe not every month, but I think this is great every so often.
