Re: Aq su**s: make another raid month!
Because Kabam would say its bad for the game economy and would nerf raid rewards. They would probably make us do 4 weeks of raids to get the rewards we get currently for doing raids once per month.I'd still prefer that over normal aq.
Re: Aq su**s: make another raid month!
100% agree. After playing for 7 years, I’m about to enter my first period without an alliance starting next week. And honestly, it's solely because I just can’t bring myself to open the game three times a day for the same repetitive content that AQ is.

Re: Now that we know Maker and Evolutionary are Mid, are you still saving for the next Titan?
Nico is the prize and probably worth saving. I’ve got everyone of consequence in the current Titan except for yelena and bastion, who will be around in the Titan for quite a while. I’ll probably pop one more and then start banking for Sept.
Raid month changes if it ever comes back again
So overall despite the various bugs, I think that the raid month was a successful event. The extra rewards each week and the change-up in bosses were big pluses in my opinion. And was such a refreshing time versus the monotony that is map 8.
However I do want to bring up a change that should be made if it ever comes back again, which my alliance became an extreme edge case example of. There should be a break each week when people can get rewards and still move to another alliance.
In our case, one of our members sadly passed away. Which was obviously a tragedy and our whole alliance is in shock and saddened by losing someone we played with for years. I am absolutely not trying to make light of the situation here, simply stating what happened to us as an alliance. With his passing we were then unable to make any membership changes as no one was willing to lose out on a weeks worth of rewards to move alliances, even to be in a top 5 raid alliance.
Now I know that Kabam do not want to make it easy for people to alliance hop, but it would not take an event as extreme as this one to be as problematic for alliances. A broken phone could do it.
So all I would ask for is that if you bring it back, next time make each raid 6 days long so there is at least a few hours break in the middle so people can move without giving up everything they worked that week for.

Re: I feel like i’m the only person not upset about “Doom Cycle”
The main problem is that it's a serious slow burn that only really comes into its own until the Shatter mode opens up, so I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to put a three-round limit during the Story mode when everything was boring as heck no matter where you put the mastery points.
Basically:
Day 1: This is novel, but kinda boring.
Day 2: Yeah, this is boring. Less novel now, though.
Day 3: Boooooring.
Day 4: At least I'm out of the story. Huh, I've gotten quite a mastery few points by now.
Day 5: Okay, I begin to see what the point of this game mode is.
Day 6: Am I...having fun?
The secondary problem is that the four characters come, basically, without any abilities of their own from the outset. I spent a lot of points in the Teamwork tree since those benefit every character, but that meant that all of them felt very samey. I feel like the game mode could have really benefit from a deep dive. Not necessarily one for each champion, but a single "here's how these guys work and what they do and how they differ from one another" video.
The third problem is that the individual characters can become so OP that it's usually better to simply invest into a single champ than it is to spread out points between the lot of them. I'm fairly certain that I could simply start a Shatter run with Invisible Woman and then just go and make dinner or something while she steamrolls all eight rounds. There's no need for me to play that little special attack mini game or to choose boosts, because she'll crush everything no matter what.
I think there is potential in the game mode and I don't think it's something that some poor sap at Kabam had to do in an afternoon just because their bosses wanted something new for whatever reason. However, I think we've basically been beta testing both this mode and the poker one this month. Which is fine, but it would be nice to know that this is a beta test since I tend to give more grace to those types of tests than when I play finished products.
It just feels as if we're mostly testing out a very bare-bones version of both new modes, that will both hopefully be expanded upon in the future when they launch properly. At least I hope that's the case, because I've found both quite lacking in terms of genuine engagement from me. I can see the vision for both modes, but just hope there's ultimately more to it than I've been allowed to partake in up until now.
