Re: Isophyne Sneaky Good BG Defender??
There is an example in my top post above. Can you Show an example. I have r3 and she is out of my deck.Sam obviously isn't immune to incenerate Or poison, and not tactic, so he'll die even to a iron Fist.Shathra isn't immune or tactic either, but she's still been ok so far.
Obviously she took hazard damage that fight so score was in the 40ks instead of 50k, so just depends on the depth of your roster and the trade-offs. But yeah, I agree, not ideal. I would leave her out of my deck too if I had 30 better options.
Re: Isophyne Sneaky Good BG Defender??
If a defender is not sugarpill you are cooked without decay with plenty debuffs or an actual hazard counterBecause the sugar pill node applies to all defenders, and not just #sugar pill tagged defenders? Have you played any BG matches this season and noticed whether it does or does not?Yeah, it probably should. Honestly not sure why it doesn’t say thatThanks, that makes sense, but shouldn't the BG node specify that Sugar Pill applies only to Sugar Pill tagged defenders, the way #Decay is laid out for attackers?Hazard Shift does apply to all defenders this season, but Sugar Pill only applies to defenders with the Sugar Pill tagDeadpool inflicts a lot less debuffs natively to keep up the reduced damage from decay tactic, so he sucks against non tactic defenders. Sam obviously isn't immune to incenerate Or poison, and not tactic, so he'll die even to a iron Fist. Can you explain what you mean by "non tactic defenders"? Don't both sugar pill and hazard shift apply to all defenders in this BG season? I'm genuinely confused (and likely missing something).
Tactic defenders place Placebo buffs on the attacker. Decay attackers are immune to Placebo buffs, and whenever a Buff immunity triggers they place a Wither debuff on the opponent. These Wither debuffs allow all Decay attackers to mitigate the damage from Hazard Shift, but they can only place these debuffs if their Placebo Buff Immunity triggers, which can only happen if the defender has the Sugar Pill tag. Decay attackers can still reduce the damage from Hazard Shift when facing a non-tactic defender if they place a lot of personal debuffs on the opponent, but DPX doesn’t do that very well
Re: Unblockable vs Auto Block
What are the scenarios in which unblockable attacks would still be auto blocked? I thought unblockable attacks were unable to be blocked if you didn't have some steadfast buff or ability in your kit to block them. Overseer, Red Skull have an autoblock mechanic but they do not auto block unblockable attacks however, Arcade does.Possibly a bug as its not listed he can autoblock unblockable in kit but if he gets steadfast makes sense he can
Smart people your turn ... who else can autoblock unblockable attacks? And why is that a thing?

Re: CCP challenges in 2025
Not until a year atleast. Also most new defenders will likely start to counter hit abilities once he hits basic. Staying in limited pool helps since devs won't consider him when making defenders kit.He will likely go into the basic pool at some point, he's already been in paid-for special crystals, which makes me think it's just a matter of time.
Best bg attacker of all time. Go for it
Re: Someway, somehow- there’s more bugs! Wow!
My new favorite. I go to parry and the AI whiffs a medium infront of me instead of getting stunned only to bash my block safely.
Or how their follow up lights now have more reach than my back dash.

This Victory Track Meta sucks.
I just finished the VT, because I’m going on a vacation till the season ends, and I gotta say this meta is terrible. Just so draft dependent, which totally ruins your whole chance of winning if you don’t pull a proper double immune champ, or a decay attacker. Also, the AI intercepting you when you go in for a medium actually made me afraid to intercept so I just kept blocking. How did we go from “skill and smart rankups” to “your draft needs to be lucky and also, you need these champs ranked or you are cooked.” I genuinely feel bad for those lower progression players who don’t have many Decay or Sugar Pills champs, or even proper immunity champs ranked up. Just my two cents, yeah.
