They promised frontloaded offers and they delivered for the most part from what I can see, no idea what people are **** about if you are a whale who usually spends over 600 on every sale then yes of course this isn't going to seem very appealing, most people don't spend that much. I'm not sold yet tho I need to see the milestones and the rest of the deals but the fact even f2p players will get something out of this is great.

Your same arguments of "Kingpin isn't that good because my OTHER SKILL champion works better for X in BGs" can be used for Absorbing Man. Am I kicking Nico out of my deck? Nope. Am I immediately kicking out Kushala, Spiral, Rintrah, etc? Not really, it might depend on what the meta is. On and on and on.

You can make the case that AbsMan's dual threat nature makes him a good replacement for strictly Offensive Mystic, but …. by your own arguments, "people love pretending these old 6* Gods will still be Gods in the current meta". Is AbsMan still a "god dual threat"? I would argue no, since his defensive value has greatly decreased since people know how to play him. So he is primarily an Offensive Mystic with some defensive potential.

What's weird to me (since we're sharing old man experiences) is how these high school and college kids who make up like most of the top alliances/BG tiers have so much money to constantly buy up every deal at every sale.

I know when I was in college, after using my student aid to buy books and drugs, I had no money left over to go to the grocery store, much less spend thousands on a predatory gacha video game.

This is what I found too. Trying to get intercepts at the beginning of the fight wasted 20+ seconds from the timer. Better to fight normally and the intercepts happen naturally. Didn’t need that many anyway.

T3 class alloy crystals are also in monthly EQ rewards for Valiant. I don’t think T2 celestials are available yet. (There’s at least one rank on 6* relics that needs t3 class but not t2 celestial, but you can’t rank up a 7* relic at all yet)
