Fantasma 😔
Re: Star-Lord Stellar Forged Review: A Missed Opportunity
That last paragraph isn't accurate at all.
The way Eidols were released was exceptionally successful by nearly every metric. They also had virtually no connection to the Deathless / Stellar Forged chase Champions - which are completely free-to-acquire long-term Chase Champions with a different purpose.
We're very excited about the Stellar Forged chase; the First Appearance Cosmetic being absent is no indication of anything otherwise. It's simply not used for these kinds of releases. That cosmetic is typically used for Standard Release Champions or special events, hence why there wasn't one on the Eidols, or other Saga Chase Champions either, as they had abnormal release methods.
The Deathless having a darker tint to their borders is very fun, a gold or pink tint for Stellar Forged would have also been fun. That said, the art team is juggling a ton of priorities right now, and this fell into the "nice-to-have" bucket rather than a must-have.
Expiring relic materials & lack of t2 celestial alloys.
Some t2 celestial would be nice.
The same goes with that deal they just had where people can buy t6 and t4 alpha for 10 units. Great but where are the class cats to match?

Re: Mysterio Buff and Ascension???
I understand Kabam wants the game to have strong defenders, it's required for the games meta and balance. But as a player my main joy in this Marvel Champions fighting game is that I get to fight with my Marvel Champions. Currently Mysterio isn't unplayable but clearly fallen behind in the meta (not that he ever really entered it as an attacker). So I really hope Kabam gives me the love I require to make me function well on attack in the current MCOC meta!
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
IMO BGs could be the most competitive and representative game mode to know if a champ is good or no.
Story, AW, AQ or Coliseum can be done in more than one try with revives (in AW maybe not, but you dont have to kill the defender as fast as posible, or in low tier wars the deads doens´t count so much). For example, a noob can do a necro run with a credit card or have 80 points in coliseum with 100 attemps. So this type of content doesn´t always require the best champ, can be done with worts champs or in different attemps. In BGs you only have one try and it has to be perfect you need to enter in a fight with the best posible option in every match.
What I mean by this is that battlegrounds are the game mode that demands the most from champions and IMO is the best mode to rate a champ. You need a champ that can have utility and damage as soon as posible or in the easiets way.
Also, the 90% of the champs that are good for BGs are good for the rest of the game. One good champ for BGs always is going to be good for other tipe of content (AW, AQ etc.) while a good champ for quest could be bad for BGs. The unique game mode that is different could be the big healt pools in everest content where a few champs can shine and probably only are good for this kind of content.
Re: All Missing 7★ Champions — Updated Monthly
Hey everyone,
Another stream has ended, which means it’s time to update our missing 7★ champions picture. In the latest stream, Kabam announced five 6★-locked champions that will be coming as 7★ in the February update:
1- The February Side Quest is Squad Builder, and there will be Red Envelopes with a rare chance to obtain 7* Goldpool.
2- There will be another Side Quest where the top 7 alliances (210 players total) will receive 7* Heimdall. He will then join the Titan Pool when the pool resets.
3- Love is a Battlerealm returns with three new 7* champions: Karnak, Star Lord and the long-overdue Claire Voyant.
There is no update on any other missing 7★ champions at the moment, so that brings us to the end.
Here is the updated picture;
By the way, when will we get 7* Ghost ? @Karatemike415
Re: Rant: The problem with “BG brainrot” and How it Has Distorted Champion Evaluation in MCOC
This is the core issue. The artificial divide / battle between the brainrot crowd and the “every champ deserves a chance!!!! Unicorns and hearts and whatever” is just noise.
Kabam has created this perception of BGs vs everything else because they haven’t been able to create anything that’s truly new and interesting BESIDE bgs in several years now.
Raids, fine. Its best quality is that it’s not AQ. Coliseum is fine, but honestly they are dragging about a week’s worth of engagement out to cover a two month event.
This is all compounded by the fact that we are in a pretty flat period of champ releases. Spidey is great, but what is the community broadly excited about in the last four or five months of champs? The rest have been fine and I’m glad to learn and play a bunch of them. But they’re not game-changing. And while not every champ needs to be revolutionary, you need at least one a month to be compelling.
