As others have noted, the graphic is only for the main event. There is both a participation event with some free crystals, and an Uncollected+ event with more champions/materials. The cost for the milestones is exactly the same as last year for milestones with the same points.

Can you confirm that these champs will not return for a very long time? The pool from last years event have not returned yet, so id assume the same. But DLL in a youtube video seems to state otherwise which contradicts what Karate Mike said in another thread about them being exclusive to HoF.

Given the steep cost of the event, and that you get substantially less sigs, crystals, AG, rank 4 materials etc than July 4 or Cyber would give , the primary appeal 8s exclusivity , so if these champs were to return in say banquet this year, it would nullify the incentive of investing the units now

The five champions in the Heart of Fire crystal will be handled the same way as the Omega Days champions.

Dark Phoenix was a trophy created for this event and there are no plans to source her anywhere else. I'm not saying it will NEVER happen, but right now I personally am assuming this is the only place to get her.

Remember when we had to play hard content to earn champs, and than use those champs to do a quest to earn a top of the line, meta champ? Ah, yes....the good old times....

I think that Kabam Crashed mentioned that there would be another way to get them either later this year or early next year. I'm not sure if Radiance is the way that he was referring to but I suspect that it wasn't and that there'll be a quest of some sort later down the road.

That being said, if you genuinely want the Deathless champs then I think buying from the Radiance store is fairly reasonable. The high unit cost was always something I had a little bit of a problem with, even if I understood why they structured it that way. However, I have much less of a problem with a high price in Radiance. As long as you don't have to spend units (which prohibits you from doing all kinds of other things in the game), I think it's fair.

That being said, it all depends on which pieces/champs you are missing and what your intentions are. The only Deathless champ that I think is worth getting is She-Hulk. She's genuinely amazing. Thanos is worth getting as well, but you need all four previous champions for that and besides She-Hulk, I wouldn't actively hunt any of them. However, if you really want to do the Deathless Necropolis run, you obviously need the whole team and might either have to bite the bullet and use all of your Radiance for the foreseeable future to obtain the first four champs, or just wait and hope that a third option besides units or Radiance materializes.

However, while I was confident that a second option would come to the game, I'm far less confident that we'll see a third option. It's possible, but I wouldn't count on it.
