Everyone's Talking About Dark Phoenix but...

What about the champs that needed some slight tweaks because they were either overperforming slightly or underperforming slightly, or straight up ****? They mentioned no champ will receive any other changes unless they're impacting game health massively so what now? Dracula and High Evo staying ****? Maker, Cassandra, Cyclops, staying mid? Nico staying slightly op?

If the answer is yes then here's my other question, are they genuinely trying to kill the game now? Whoever's been designing champs this year has been missing the mark a lot with all the bs defenders and mid counters for said bs defenders, yes there are some exceptions but at least half the champs this year were either bs defenders or mid counters for said defenders. How are they going to ensure we don't get more mid trash that just stays mid in the future because of the rebalancing program being dead? Such a frustrating situation all they had to do was give away Dark Phoenix for free during Banquet...

I have the opposite perspective.

I don't have a problem with champs getting tuned down.

I am more unhappy about champs not getting tuned UP!

Let's not forget, some of the beneficiaries if the rebalance program include Shuri and Attuma, both of whom got great Tune-ups. Even Dani and Patriot got better; if still mid-tier.

The game continues to have one foot in the grave. Marvel's popularity has seriously declined. MCOC is nothing but creative void of money grabs at this point.

You're missing the point. Instead of altering/improving the rebalancing program, they ended it. It might seem good for you now, but wait until you start pulling these mid champs who dont get buffed.

They ended it to avoid adjusting Dark Phoenix, a champion that only whales have, not because they wanted to help the average summoner. We are likely going to see even more whale exclusive champs come out with no chance of being adjusted. Kabam had a chance to show some integrity and nerf DP, but chose the easy way out.

Those characters are not in the patch list through rebalancing program.

They’re tuned up for many reasons like meta-hero rework, rework for Double-Track, Christmas Hero Rework even only a surprise sometimes. You don’t need to worry about them because their reworks are always on schedule.

But for our little Dracula or High Evo or Cassandra or Silver Samurai, that’s a bit unfortunate (please don’t argue the strength of them in the post, just call for an example)
