Magik is my favorite champion and I wouldn't want her kit to change.
However, if the only way to have her as a 7-star is with changes, I'd rather have her change. I haven't been able to use her in anything relevant for over a year.

@KabamDORK" @KabamPinwheel" Can we please put an end to this secret codes BS and just stick to regular promo codes. A lot of us watch the stream but don't have the luxury to pay attention every single minute.Promocodes as they were are not returning for the foreseeable future. Twitch Drops have replaced them and we're going to play our streams for the rest of the day to give people a chance to earn and claim them who are in different timezones/difficult schedules as seen here: https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/394279/may-2nd-livestream-twitch-drops-and-secret-code-information#latest . If you and a majority of people really feel that strongly about having an extra chance to get cool things on top of the 5x Titan Crystals and 5x Champion Choice. I'll consider removing the Secret Codes.
So to be clear.. We'll go from
5x Titan Crystals, 5x Champion Choice AND 5x 7 Star Crystals
to
5x Titan Crystals and 5x Champion Choice
The other option is you don't have to try to claim the Secret Codes and it will feel the same as option 2.

This is much better than the omega days pool already and there is a selector
It’s not “shady” and despite this being a gacha game Kabam is very generous with the stuff they let players use units for compared to like 99% of other games

Over time, being 5-Star locked seems to have caused folks to forget how truly busted Magik is.
5 Star Magik was being used in competitive Alliance War against maxed out 6 Stars, up until the 7 Star Meta took away her reach.
Releasing Magik in her current form as a 7 Star is not an option - and leaving her locked in 5 Star land isn't going to be beneficial to her, and honestly, isn't great for the game.
The goal is for her to be a powerful Champion that can be used in MCOC for a long time, and I think this is very long overdue.

Re: Timeline on Twitch drops
Typically 20-30 minutes, but we're monitoring the situation to see what might be happening here. That being said, we'll be playing the stream on loop through out the day so there will be more chances to lock in those milestones.
