Re: Let’s talk crashed
Surprise surprise, the energy issue was solved super easily (Where are the clowns saying you need 20 years of game development to solve the issue). Can't believe kabam even thought their original plan was good.
Re: CAN WE JUST GET THE OLD FORMAT OF EQ BACK!
The format of old EQ was fine. The rewards were not fine
Re: EQ rewards changes. Better or not?
yes it’s better than before… but it’s still tuned higher than story content, is an energy sink, and is staler than 3day old under pants left out in the sun.
Re: EQ rewards changes. Better or not?
Dear Kabam,
Are you being purposely stupid? No one asked for you to change EQ in the first place. So when you said you heard us loud and clear, I guess we were morons to think you’d revert to the way EQ was… nope, you frickin’ idiots, you left it the same basically. I am at a loss, I don’t know why I still even play this game, let alone spend money on your stupid ****. And for the love of all that is good and holy, i don’t even understand what it is I am getting for completing your ridiculous EQ, the rewards screen is so jacked up.
My god, pull your heads out of your asses. Fix War. Make AQ better. Do something new in the arenas. Make incursions worth my time. Hell, ban all the cheaters in BG… BUT NO ONE ASKED YOU TO MESS WITH A THING IN EQ, YOU JACK BUTTS!! Jackasses!!! 10 years of playing this game, just to have you make it so unenjoyable. Thank you for wasting all of our collective time! Grrrrrrrr!!!!
Re: What will you do for Zola?
I have him awakened so my choice is obvious and I could do with more falcon sigs 🤬
Re: Let’s talk crashed
This feels like another instance of the team saying "everything working as intended." Or the hilarious "oopsie we missed the mark" on a massive fumble.
You say "the health & attack values in Classic & Elder have all also been heavily decreased." There is a massive disconnect between what you and the team think is heavily decreased and what the majority of players would describe as heavily decreased.
I jumped into the 'new' Classic and just had to laugh.
Re: CAN WE JUST GET THE OLD FORMAT OF EQ BACK!
I think we are going to lose this one… far too many people went and plowed through the original iteration and now the “backed off” one is just being accepted as better…. Though not anything close to what the previous 3-4 months were like. Kabam psychology of introducing something terrible and then making it slightly less terrible wins the day with the community.
We might get to avoid classic next month but I don’t see a satisfying casual play we were promised. And I’m not saying it’s hard or impossible… it’s just not a fun time. It’s a new chore
Re: why is this garbage eq still not gone yet?
Also Thronebreaker. Been playing a long time, but mostly casually. Occasionally spending if I have a gift card or something. Playing more after being DOGE’d, but lately I haven’t been having fun. None of the new modes or changes have been good IMO.
This was supposed to be a game, right? For fun? This is not fun. 🙁
Re: Message for the Sales and Marketing team....
I have to agree with @Demonzfyre and I'm so confused with Sales Team goal with a lot of the offers/sales 🤪
As many have already pointed out, everything feels massively overpriced and clearly aimed at "Whales" — or as GW put it, just "Someone." What I can't wrap my head around is why these offers aren’t designed to appeal to a broader audience. Take the current offer for example: 1–2 gems and two original pool champions that most players already own — somehow this has been priced at £100. Maybe 1 in 100 people might go for it. But if it were priced at £25, making it more accessible, you’d likely see interest from 10 out of 100 players instead. I’m no mathematician, but you can see the logic there.
I literally pulled Chavez and Shuri into the boxes, then the price tag popped up — I just laughed and closed the window. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Then there’s the 9.3 completion offer, which is another example of absurd pricing. It offers less than what I got from actually finishing 9.3 — for free. Seeing it priced at 15,000 units was enough to just move on. If it had been around 5,000 units, I think Kabam would’ve had far more success draining our units, which I assume is the goal.
Honestly, if they shifted their strategy and started creating offers aimed at the wider player base instead of just the top spenders, I think their sales would explode. For example, imagine a new Titan release came with an offer for 1 Titan Nexus at £10 — I guarantee a huge portion of the player base would jump on that.
I just think they should try different things rather than charging silly amounts all the time and compare the results.
I could go on, especially with the big yearly sales where you could always grab the top prizes for around 15/18K units, why does it now cost 40K units? That just puts me off straight from the start! The rank rewards are there for the big spenders but the milestones should be more available to everyone other than the millionaires of MCOC.
