"Any end game player" has a ton of content - acts 7+, Valiant gauntlet EQ, BG, incursion, Arena, AW, Wheel of Fate, EoT, Necropolis, Crucible, RoL ect.
And not endgame players only has Eq and it was rob from them. Not everything should be teethbroken Everest content for hardcore end-game players, they are minority of total player base. There should be fun and relaxing modes for usual people.

Mine is 600k but that is about 25% less than it was in the previous version.

I feel like he's the opposite of Okoye. While Okoye relies on lots of DOT, Mr Knight doesn't have any DOT, only big yellow numbers for his damage, plus Mr Knight has more utility than Okoye, including Tranquilize, Panic and bypassing Physical Resist

The rewards for monthly quest were outdated . That’s prob the top reason people weren’t doing it. Time spent vs rewardss. If this is their solution, it’s poorly thought out and not much of an improvement . Why are attack values higher than necro champs? One of the things I liked about the old quest was that I could fight the new champs in lower difficulties to get a feel for the animations and the fight itself. Now, it’s right into the fire vs a brand new champ you’ve never fought with 12k attack and 100k PI. Just feels like they want to push for more item use.

EQ Before - I explore Valiant, Cavalier, Thronebreaker, completed once Contender, Proven, Conqueror, Uncollected, wasted around 5-7 revives total, get all rewards. (Couple of times do Thronebreaker gauntlet, never even touch Valiant Gauntlet)
EQ now - completed Classic difficulty once, wasted 13 revives, get Proven level reward.

Side Quest: Boss Rush: Big Blue Week 1
Threat Level 1 (Recommended Team Rating: 10,000)
Threat Level 2 (Recommended Team Rating: 20,000)
Threat Level 3 (Recommended Team Rating: 40,000)
Threat Level 4 (Recommended Team Rating: 50,000)
Threat Level 5(Recommended Team Rating: 60,000)
For each Threat Level you get rewards:
Threat Level 1 Completion: 1,250 5* Shards
Threat Level 2 Completion: 1,250 6* Shards
Threat Level 3 Can't see as the View Quest Rewards is darkened (This is the only difficulty doing this)
Threat Level 4 Completion: 625 7* Shards
Threat Level 5 Completion: 1,250 7* Shards
To enter you need a Petrified Eye earned by completing the 14 Day Event In The Dark where with each milestone you get 1 Petrified Eye.
There are five fights:
Mangog
Spider-Man Supreme
Kindred
Ebony Maw
then the Boss - Absorbing Man
I've tried this once on Level 5 and didn't even take out Mangog.
My team I used was
Dr. Doom (6* R5 Lvl 65 Sig 200)
Sunspot (7* R3 LVL 45 Unduped)
Thing (7* R2 LVL 14 Sig 22)
I still have three more attempts, but really wondering if doing this level is worth it. I know the objective Out of Sight 1 will give 2,500 6* Relic Crystal Shards and 6300 T7 Basic Cat Frags, but based on this initial run I'm not sure if I can complete or if the investment I will spend potentially (revives, health pots, units) will make it worth it.

You are right!
Previous time I got 3400 7* AG shards.
Now it is 3000. And 3400 shards are for tier higher.
So, it is one more reduce in rewards.
