Neither champ counters energize. They deal with passive power gain, not combat power rate. When it comes to passive power gain though, I'd probably go Chavez especially since both are unduped

The Daily Quests are being updated and Dave answered a chat on stream saying that the lower tier items would still be available. That is good because I love to rank the lower star level champs for collection purposes (8 years in the game. Sometimes need to keep it interesting).The daily quest ecosystem is getting a huge upgrade. All the stuff there now will still be there, and it will include many other resources and catalysts including T1A, T2A, T3A, T5B, T6B, alloys, ember etc. It's really more of an overhaul than an update.
However, tier 1 alphas are hard to get outside of the glory store.
Can we add tier 1 alphas to the Daily Quests?

I woulda just preferred a statement along the lines of, “we invested time into this and we need to have an ROI on that”. Because the premise of their argument is weaker than quick sand. Best believe they will be selling these regardless of disparity among access to players.
The problem is more, we need to create an ecosystem of profit for our work. Which in that case I mind less. I find the naivety or intellectual dishonesty to be the more distasteful part of this announcement.
I also think it’s BS to introduce these at a 5-7 rarity with no ramp up. That feels like a manipulative cash grabby element of all this as it invalidates the last 3 years of ranking and building relics for prestige… something that’s crazy disrespectful.
