Given my champs here, what roster of 5 would you assemble for The Ordeal

-Onslaught, Maestro, Shuri/ Red Skull, Medusa, Red Guardian/ Nick Fury-
This would be the team I would make but it would be much easier if you had Serpeant but having Onlsaught/ Deathless She-Hulk makes everything way easier. Here is which defender I would take with which attacker.

*Doom - Onslaught or Overseer both work with typical rotation
*Terrax - Onslaught typical rotation with heavy spam or if you get Wiccan just cheese
*Vision - Maestro with 7 infuriates can make him use sp 1 and sp 2 multiple times
*MODOK - Medusa has a Auto-Block counter with full combo in sp1 or Nick Fury 8 charge
*Spider-Ham - Nick Fury or Guardian sp1 with broken shield for slow and trauma or just Nick Fury above 8 cahrges
*Weapon X - Onslaught or Shuri/ Red Skull work all
*Thing - Onslaught basic gameplay or Guardian with slow or NIkc Fury
*Korg - Just Onslaught
*Dragon Man - Overseer carefully played
*BPCW - Red Guardian or if you feel confident Onslaught again
*Nightcrawler - Red Guardian slow heavy reset
*Spider-Gwen - Red Guardian slow heavy reset or Nick Fury
*Domino - Either Shuri or Red Skull both work basic rotations
*Mojo - Red Guardian sp2 nuke or eventualy Overseer
*I-Bomb - Overseer regular rotation
*Apoc - Either Shuri or Red Skull basic rotation (make sure you one shot to avoid giving him prowess and making the fight more annoying)
*Sasquatch - Overseer with Despair (I assume you have despair based on the account and number of champs) avoids all healing alltogheter and makes it very easy. Red Guardian could work too.
*Killmonger - Onslaught it
*Void - If you choose for Nick Fury he is the best option for this fight otherwise anyone on the team kinda works
*Nick Fury - Onslaughtyy

*Nameless Thanos - Whoever is left standing but again idealy either Onslaught or Nick Fury cuz highest damage

How much did you spend?

Honestly, I have no clue, I was buying the weekly deals, didn’t even keep track. I like the exalted crystal better than any of the other rng crystals. Then I used an awakening (skill) gem

I think I heard them say on the stream that you will be able to trade these in for something else.
Curious why you awakened him? I'm trying to understand his signature ability and it doesn't seem very useful to me, but I might be missing something? (I'm just basing this on reading his kit, I don't have him yet).

I awakened him for THIS BGs meta, void, leader, Titania, specifically, but any champ who put non damaging debuffs on you. They fall off and after there is a damage reduction for ANY incoming damage. Photon can still hit you with mediums, but he destroys everyone pretty cleanly (in science). The Thing is his b****.

Yeah I guess that's what I don't get. It doesn't get rid of non damaging debuffs or reduce their potency or duration, it just reduces subsequent damage, but that kinda assumes you're getting hit, which with the invisible mechanic you shouldn't be anyway...
Like you said, Photon is the only meta defender where that would matter, but that's not a fight he should be taking anyway, right?

I can tell you from my limited experience with him so far you will absolutely get hit, lol. Currently, I’m taking every match up I can with him, and while he annihilates almost whole science class, there are certain interactions that you forget about-I.e. the photon medium, Nick fury, bullseye, I’ve tried them all in bgs. That damage reduction was clutch against bullseye and photon. Not ideal, but I finished photon under a minute and 85% health, bullseye was similar but I got hit, 78% health.
