Re: Towers Information and Q&A
OK I have an answer from the economy team. The rewards are algorithmically generated based on sourcing resources for specific ranks of champions. One ends at Block 90 and the next doesn't start until Block 93, so Blocks 91 and 92 have less rewards.
Re: CHARGED FOR EVENT QUEST EXCLUSIVE TICKET?
It does not happen often. In fact, as far as I am aware it is impossible to happen even by accident, at least by Kabam. Duplicate transactions can happen on occasion but Kabam has no way to charge you for something. Neither Apple nor Google gives app developers that capability. They do not have your payment information, and the in-app purchase mechanism cannot be invoked from their side. You can imagine what could happen if a scam artist managed to plant an app on the Apple or Google play store that was capable of generating internal transactions without the user's approval.
It is at least within the realm of possibility for xSolla to generate an incorrect transaction, because they do have your payment information in theory. But I do not believe the web store is selling those particular items.
A question worth asking is whether you actually have an exclusive ticket event enabled. Check the exclusive events section of your events: as previously mentioned there are currently two such events going on right now. Your screen should look something like this:
If either event doesn't show the "purchase" line, then it has already been purchased, and either you did it by accident or someone else with access to your account did it (or someone else with access to your Apple or Google Play account purchased this for another game account).
Power of Towers Realm Event Day One Update
There are three release weeks of class towers, of which skill and mutant are active now. Assuming players score similar amounts of points for all six towers, to reach the top milestone of 5.25 billion points requires scoring 875 million points per tower, or 1.75 billion in each week of two towers. We're well on our way to that.
As usual, there was a blast of points out of the gate, but things eventually settled down in the range of 15-30 million points per hour. That's still a lot relative to the (higher) milestones. We really only need to average about 5 million points per hour to hit those. So at the moment, I am not worried about hitting the top milestone. We'll see how the scoring continues, but barring a catastrophic drop in points I think we're reasonably safe.
Doubly so because of the structure of the towers event. Players can *literally* get a ton of reward for free just by entering the towers, and not even doing anything. You are instantly leveled up to a floor consistent with your roster strength, which means you can score a whole bunch of points doing literally nothing. I have a Paragon alt that scored something like 5k points just by entering both towers.
The big question now is: how hard is it to reach the qualifying points to get that reward, when the community finally unlocks it. The solo prerequisite score is 35000 points. You get ten points per floor (i.e. per fight), so this requires 3500 floors. Divide by six, and assuming a player reaches the same floor in all six towers, that requires 584 points per tower.
Floor 584 is reached somewhere in the middle of block 76 (its fight #13 in block 76). So assuming a player has a perfectly even strength roster, qualifying for the top milestone rewards requires getting to the middle of block 76 in all six towers. Of course, not many players have that perfectly even roster so most players will likely get higher in some towers than others, but that's a reasonable rule of thumb: you probably need to be able to get to block 76 (and complete fights in it) to reach the top milestone. Fortunately (?) Block 76 is a very long, but relatively weak block. Block 76 is 30 floors of CR 200 fights. So if you can reach it, you'll probably do fine bringing down about a dozen fights in there.
The wild card is that we can also score points from twitch drops. However, we don't know yet how many points will be available in twitch drops.
There's probably a lot of players that haven't really dived in yet. My current rating is 1104 and as I write this my rank is 3154. It was as low as 1300 at one point yesterday, and there's probably several thousand players that will overtake 1100 soon enough. In between arena grinding I will probably try to push my score as high as I can, just to see where I end up on the leaderboard. That 100,000 radiance at rank 1500 and higher is pretty juicy, but honestly even the 75k for top 1% is pretty good. If I actually put some effort into it, I think I can land somewhere around there. That will depend in large part on whether my roster holds out against some of the stronger CR blocks.
If anyone wants a preview of the difficulty of the higher rooms, here's a summary of how many fights and what CR they are for blocks 60 through 80:

No, I didn't scribble down the defender for every single fight. Go watch Seatin's stream for that. He got I think to block 90 before calling it a day. Seatin started in block 64. I started in block 61. That's the approximate difference between a veteran minnow and a content creation cetacean.
Note: my Paragon alt started in block 50 on the skill tower and block 57 in the mutant tower. So it is possible starting block is not a blanket prestige thing, but a calculation based on the strength of your roster in that specific class.
Re: Towers Information and Q&A
Was removing skill from the equation intentional? This CR mechanic prevents champs from doing any damage at all when CR gap increases, meaning we can no longer use our skill to punch up. Is this a bug? Or was this an intentional part of the design?
I rushed the towers, reached top 1 earlier today, some tips, considerations, and bugs.
Don't buy large energy refills; I lost a lot of energy for no reason. When you have 1 energy, this bug doesn't happen. So stick with 1 energy.
When you change the proficiency tree, even after everything is saved and working, when you select the page in the tower, it simply doesn't work. You need to restart the game. I lost almost 100 units before realizing I was out of 3/3 recoil (I was using Gentle, so I didn't notice).
Boosts don't seem to work; if they do, the effect is insignificant.
Rewards decreased from room 88 to 92; I don't know why this happened, if it's intentional or a bug, but it was strange.
Tips:
Skill is the easiest to rush. Mutant is the hardest; mutant champions are very RNG. Since the fight only lasts a minute, if you're unlucky with critical hits, you'll time out. Try to prioritize champions that don't rely on critical hits, like Deadpool-X.
The best skill options are Hit-Monkey, BPCW, SF Starlord, Bullseye, Mantis, Okoye, and Patriot also works very well.
If you get stuck in a fight and have already used your strongest champion, you can recover them, put in a weaker champion that can handle that fight, and use your strongest champion in the more difficult fight. You won't need this if you pay attention.
Prioritize your strongest champions against these defenders:
Loki: time doesn't pause during specials, he simply takes all your time casting SP1.
Spider-Man 2099: has a lot of resistance, on higher floors where time is sometimes insufficient, this can be a problem.
She-Hulk: against mutant champions, she simply disables all the abilities of your special attack. If there's a big difference in CR, it will take dozens of attempts until you get lucky.
Some champions have high armor or resistance, which is a problem for mutants in general. You can time out by using Jean Grey against Jane Foster. On higher floors, I recommend stopping and checking the champion's resistances before proceeding.
Considerations:
Some defenders shouldn't be there; some interactions are unfair, like She-Hulk against mutant champions.
Time should pause during defenders' special moves. This makes a big difference on higher floors.
The rewards aren't worth it. Floor 92 is offering me 10% T7B and requires 8 ascended Rank 4 or Rank 5 champions.

Towers Information and Q&A
- All of the Towers in game right now are permanent and progress never resets. We do have plans to add Event Towers that are not permanent and do not add to Tower Rating but those do not yet exist
- The Radiance event will repeat and pay out regularly. Yes it's absolutely a grind to get up to near your ceiling in all 6 Class Towers, but that progress is permanent and will net you ranked rewards for as long as you play MCoC.
- While the Challenge Towers currently in game are all doable right now, we intend to add Challenge Towers that are more similar to Class Towers in that they are something to work towards rather than something that can be 100% at launch. Some will probably be skill checks, some will probably be RPG checks etc. This should add to granularity in ranked rewards. We are really excited about the design space Towers opens up.
- Two more Class Towers will be released next week and the final two the following week.
Power of Towers Realm Event (is kinda weird) [Day Zero post]
Milestone 60 is 25,000 points, milestone 61 is 3,900,000,000 points. The last milestone is milestone 70 at 5,250,000,000 points. Is that some weird glitch?
Probably not. My guess is the milestones were originally sketched out similar to other realm events, and then someone decided that for the launch of towers they were going to make the first 60 milestones basically automatic. The realm milestone is actually equal to the solo prerequisite to get that milestone, which means in effect there's no thought necessary to wonder if a player should strive for that milestone. In previous realm events there has often been a discussion about whether a player should push to reach a certain point total, because it was not certain whether that milestone would actually be reached by the player base. Some players did not want to risk the effort. Well, now that thought process is negated (and I don't have that much to do) for the first 60 milestones. If you reach the solo prerequisite, of course that milestone will be unlocked. Heck, they are all already unlocked.
It is really milestones 61 through 70 that are the "kinda stretchy" milestones that we almost always hit, but it is sometimes a very close thing. They are the only ones about which there is any doubt. Is there any doubt?
As I write this, I've done enough of the two class towers to collect all the objective rewards, and the first level of the saga challenge tower. That's sort of one third of the minimum effort to "complete" everything - there will be four more class towers and I believe the chase piece is on level 3 of the challenge tower (I might be wrong there: that's just what I heard - weirdly you can't preview the rewards at higher levels of a tower, something I consider to be a significant flaw in the implementation). As of now I have 9420 points. Extrapolating that, I should end up with at least 28,000 points assuming I continue doing the minimum grind to "complete" everything. To reach the top realm event milestone would require about 187,500 players putting in similar effort (or some combination of more players doing less effort on average). That number is comfortably consistent with other realm events where we hit the top milestone.
Another early indicator is scoring today appears to be closing in on over a billion points on launch day. Since only the first two class towers are out, it is a good sign that we're well on our way to scoring about a third of the top milestone, which would be 1.75 billion points. I think if we are in the range of 1.7 to 2.0 billion by the end of the first week that bodes well for hitting the top milestone and the Warlock ascension. It appears to have been put in a high but achievable score.
Which means players who want it need to score at least 35,000 points. My guesstimate is I will land around 28,000 if I just do the minimum necessary to collect all the objective rewards and the chase piece, so there will need to be a bit more grinding after that. Of course, my points are governed by things like my prestige, as that determines your starting tower tier. But 7000 more points is 700 more floors (10 points per floor) aka 700 more fights. Across three weeks, that is about 34 tower fights per day, over and above the minimum to grab all the milestone-like rewards.
That's not a lot, but that's also not a little. An extra half hour per day, over and above what's necessary to grab all the normal tower rewards. It took me about 45 minutes to do blocks 61 through 66 in the skill tower (which maxed out the milestone rewards). So my estimate for my total tower grind time to get everything I want is 45 x 6 + 34 x 21 = 984 minutes, or about 16 and a half hours across three weeks.
Whether you think that's a reasonable grind time or not is a YMMV situation, but I would describe that as a moderate amount of time. How many people decide to go that far will be an interesting question for the rank rewards to figure out.
Anyway, we'll see where we are tomorrow after Day One concludes.
Re: Man, I hope they hand out a lot of tower points in the twitch drops
Theres 4 more towers to be added (one for each class) so you should roughly have 24k if you start at tower 60 for each class. But that still leaves around 11k points which imo is still way too much grinding. They should've started us on a higher floor if their intention is that we only do a few floors per season.
Re: Is it me or the towers are just... incredibly boring.
No!
They're amazing.
Wonderful new game mode by Kabam
Same as Arenas 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh my...
Respect Kabam staff
Different than Arenas you must pick a team of four and understand a little the nodes and have masteries knowledge.
