Niko v/s Kushala
I feel Kushala can play against almost any one as long as they are not buff immune. On the other hand Niko is OP when playing against cosmics. However, when it comes to other classes and champions (which there are many) Niko doesn't seem to do well in my comparison. Kushala can work around incinerate immunity by using sp2 with buffs. Niko can't do the same for poison immunity as it seems the acid burn does not apply to non cosmics.
I wanted to know other community members' thoughts on the same. Overall, my understanding is...
If you want a cosmic destroyer and a good BG defender rank Niko.
If you want a very good and versatile attacker who is a mediocre defender, go for Kushala.
What do you all think.
PS. I may not have considered some/many aspects here and hence this discussion thread. Please comment so I can learn those aspects..
Re: Yelena + Dark Pheonix balance update ??
Unfortunately, and I hope I am wrong but based on where the company seems to be going, I suspect that it has been pushed out till today or tomorrow so that the Nico/Karolina one will come out a month later, i.e. after the cyber weekend deals. I would recommend everyone hold off from spending for this year's cyber-weekend deal unless that update comes out before it and your find with what it includes. Personally, that is what I will be doing this year and will completely stop spending permanently if Nico or Karolina get nerfed.
Re: Next r4 help. Spiderwoman vs. Photon?
If it wasnt a huge piece of her kit, Kabam would have just taken ensnare off of defense. They are nerfing her because it wrecks abilities. They obviously valued that more than stopping evade which 15 other champions do. If you need a big damage champ take her up, that wont change. If you are looking for utility she isnt going to be as good after the nerf.
Re: Next r4 help. Spiderwoman vs. Photon?
Photon, SW nerf is a lot bigger than people are realizing. I would not have R4'd her without the 30 decrease in AAR.
Re: Next r4 help. Spiderwoman vs. Photon?
go with spider women , more damage on offence , on defence both do the same thing turn of dex and sw sever debuff cant be srugged off
Re: Spider-woman balance update
Btw the out of 5 ratings are meaningless
According to it, Apocalypse is a 5/5 Defender.
Battlegrounds Matchmaking
FYI: If anyone wants to make this about how much money invested etc, I've already spent over $200 in my first 1.5 weeks, so I'm sure I actually deserve to enjoy the game as much as other players.
Re: Next r4 help. Spiderwoman vs. Photon?
I went with photon. I'll check sw after her nerf and if she's worth it then only I'll r4 her. The resources aren't that limited now
Re: Next r4 help. Spiderwoman vs. Photon?
SW would work on that far left path just fine - the only time you really would want Photon over SW is if you need a miss counter.
Looking over the fights of that path, only 2 are really undesirable for SW - Infamous IM I think you shouldn't have lots of buffs which rules SW out with her furies, and Jabari would cleanse a lot of the debuffs - potentially Hulkling as well but that could still work…maybe?
Re: Why can't I sell these?
The short answer is you can’t sell those and many other items because in the past players would “accidentally” sell them and then open support tickets begging to get them back. Their finger slipped, their dog tapped the phone, their kid got into the game. The problem is even saying “no” takes time, and Kabam decided they did not want to deal with those anymore. The benefit of being allowed to sell them was vastly outweighed by the cost of allowing players to sell them.
The things we can sell are the things that a) make sense to sell and b) players wouldn’t care all that much if they sold accidentally. This includes, by the way, champions. We can’t sell those anymore in large part because players would sell them, then complain if content came around that required those champs. In fact, a ridiculous but all too common complaint on the forums back in those days was “if Kabam allows me to sell them, that means they are saying we will never need them. Kabam cannot punish me for doing something they allowed me to do.”
That’s the main reason. There is a secondary reason (there are always multiple reasons why anything happens) that involves what to allow something to be sold for. If you allow something that is very valuable in the game to be sold, the perception is it has to have high resale value. If the devs don’t want to allow players to sell those things for too high a value, setting the sale value low can create complaints about how “stingy” Kabam is when it comes to selling those items. Simply disallowing the sale in the first place eliminates those complaints.
