You have to join before it starts to participate. You have to participate to get rewards. So unfortunately you will not get rewards from this cycle of coliseum.

I don't think people are generally upset because they think daunted should work a certain way. I think they're upset about the way stuff is changed and communicated by Kabam. Not to get too psychoanalytical, but "trust issues" is the problem for them mostly. And I'm not going to pour kerosene on a raging fire by dissecting that….

They didn't change daunted per se, dino man comment suggests they changed protection.

I wouldn't go that far to say Daunted was introduced to counter Protection. And dll did say that that's how tech works which doesn't imply they wanted to counter protection with daunted.

Well, one thing is clear, The change is intentional and it's here to stay. I'll wait for a response from the team answering 'why?' this decision was made.

We already got the answer to the silent nerf part, "change went live before they wanted it to go live". I don't trust those words though, it's a cop out answer to why this was not included in patch notes.

Punishing the Sp1 is much easier than baiting the heavy and taking block dmg since the AI is a **** and decided to do full combos into block.

I dunno why people are so stressed about Crossbone, I can't dex the sp2 for **** and most of the time i tried to parry it i got shot in the face. Clear 4-5 bars and sometimes 2 bars when I play like poop; but there is 2 weeks to get the 80 points....
